Very good job. Nice to see the whole family involved. I built a barrel train about three years ago for the kids in the neighborhood as a Christmas train ride. I made the riding mower into a locomotive. I took the hood off and cut a plastic barrel to look like the boiler of an older train. I made a train whistle out of 3/4" pvc pipe. I would like to send you my pics of my train. How can I send you the pictures? Thanks. Ken
I built 6 of these one time to pull kids around at community day in my old town. A good tip is to get some pool noodles and cut a slit all the way down half way through the noodle and use it as a sleve for the hole where the kid sits. Drill a small hole and use zip ties to hold the noodles to the barrel. Makes it a little more colorful too.
@@parttimebuilds4504 I can appreciate that. You do mighty fine work. By the way. You made great and comprehensive videos. Hope to see many more like them.
@Part Time Builds Another Idea if you don't mind. Use a big rig alternator and where you remove deck as well as it's pulley to spin alternator. Then you can use a converter to operate a fog machine in the smoke stack.
Hi part time...I have a question for you...may I use a hitch lock 500 pound to pull a bagons one hitch for each one..I bought it from amazon, but I am not in sure I can use for safety...very truly yours, Moises..
Im not sure. I only used it because it was a free mower given to me. However I did pull a 1999 mercury around the yard with it, so I knew it would be able to pull the kids.
Great job!….whole family is talented! Priceless time spent with your precious daughter!….😻
Thank you for the support

Ive watched all 3 parts! You make great videos and answer and explain everything! I love them!great job!
Thanks for the support 👍
Split some rubber hose and slip it around the opening you cut with a little adhesive works good to get rid of a sharp edge.
Little train of love for your children !
That’s why I do it!
Smart man..what a beautiful train..thanks for that video..
HI I like you idea currently busy sourcing information on how to build a trackless train. William Douglas from South Africa
You did awesome with it.
Thank you, I appreciate it
Use a spring for a pigs tail and glue on some button eyes.
I like it 👍
Awesome job!
Thanks!
Awesome! You should be proud!
Thank you sir
Since you gotten this far on it. I'd like to see the train done with
the old steam engine of the 1800s. Kinda like you'd see in a mall.
That’s a good idea. I haven’t been able to keep them off of it long enough yet.

Use pool noodles on the edges of the barrels you cut
You need a John deer tractor to keep with the animal theme
Maybe if I had John Deere money haha
Wil the Murray tractor still cut grass as well (refurbish/rebuild the deck and install it for mowing)?
It would but I bought a zero turn when the murray’s belt originally started slipping. We are going to keep it as a train for now.
