What a wonderful duo.
Me encanta ver que el Presente y el Futuro de la música está en manos de artistas jóvenes y excepcionales como ustedes; les agradecemos brindarnos Esperanza. Abrazos!!!
Well done....
You are a world class performer ! I love that ! Keep it up !
Sentimientos, sensaciones, arte...

That was AMAZING.
Thank you!!! I am so glad you liked it! 😊
I don't understand a single word. But the beauty of this music, the very own sound language, the coming together of you two, great musicians, I like very much. I am curious for more, maybe a CD?
Yes! We are going to record our first album as a duo and it will go out this 2021! Very happy that you enjoyed the performance :)
Frank, the key to understanding such songs is to do a search for the "Song Title Lyrics." Most of the time you get an option for an English translation. If not, you can copy and paste the original into Google Translate a little bit at a time. (I keep links handy for Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French & Galician.) Either method of translation is a little rugged/ragged, but you can get the gist. In this case, she's singing about the "forbidden love" between two women. The songwriter, Chico Buarque, is a man, who evidently possesses an understanding of human nature as great as his poetic skills. Powerful song; performed wonderfully.
@@garyedmondson2998 Thanks for the heads up on the song writer ... it's normally courtesy, if not for copyright reasons, to credit the writer along with the performers ... anyway, I loved the performance! 😊 R (Australia)
Precioso!! Muchas gracias 😊
Que bé cantas Carolina!😱😍👏👏👏👏
Moltes gràcies Francesc! ☺️

loved urgent love
Amaram o amor urgente
Mouths salted by the sea
As bocas salgadas pela maresia
The storm-lashed back
As costas lanhadas pela tempestade
In that city
Naquela cidade
far from the sea
Distante do mar
they loved the serene love
Amaram o amor serenado
of the night beaches
Das noturnas praias
lifted their skirts
Levantavam as saias
And they were moonlit with happiness
E se enluaravam de felicidade
In that city
Naquela cidade
that has no moonlight
Que não tem luar
loved forbidden love
Amavam o amor proibido
because today it is known
Pois hoje é sabido
everybody counts
Todo mundo conta
that one was dizzy
Que uma andava tonta
pregnant with moon
Grávida de lua
And another walked naked
E outra andava nua
sea life
Ávida de mar
And they were getting marked
E foram ficando marcadas
Hearing laughter, feeling chills
Ouvindo risadas, sentindo arrepio
looking at the river so full of moon
Olhando pro rio tão cheio de lua
And that continues
E que continua
running to the sea
Correndo pro mar
And they went downstream
E foram correnteza abaixo
rolling in bed
Rolando no leito
swallowing water
Engolindo água
rolling with the algae
Rolando com as algas
dragging leaves
Arrastando folhas
carrying flowers
Carregando flores
And to fall apart
E a se desmanchar
And they turned into fish
E foram virando peixes
turning shells
Virando conchas
turning pebbles
Virando seixos
turning sand
Virando areia
silver sand
Prateada areia
with full moon
Com lua cheia
and by the sea
E à beira-mar
