In this video I breakdown THE BEST QB GYM LIFTS & EXERCISES. I hope you enjoy! WE ARE TRAVELING TO 11 MORE STATES FOR QB/WR CAMPS! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ www.firstdowntraining.com/boo...
I know you’re more of a WR/QB coach, but can you do some videos on DB stuff as well (like best db lifts, drills, stretches, etc)? Or would most of that be the same as WR (for lifts and stretches)?
It can help with explosiveness for sure- I think for QBs getting to parallel or slightly below helps a lot with strength but I think it’s good to do all 3
Honestly in quick game you can’t worry about the threads or laces. Just need some kind of grip. I would practice warming up without laces to get comfortable with it.
Can’t wait to see how much this improves!!
Thanks! Bringing my little QB out for you CLE camp. Can’t wait!
Thank you so much! Look forward to meeting you both

Honestly as far as lifting goes it would be the same! For stretches I think DBs really want to emphasize anything for their hips
love it coach, but can u do some home workouts without a tools?
Absolutely! Appreciate the feedback
Can you do a video on best foods for bulking or cutting?
Will do! Thank you for the support
Thank you for the great videos, I always learn something new
Hi coach, should I avoid all chest and shoulder work outs, or just the press work specifically?
Just the press work, I think body weight and light upper body work is totally fine to do
Thanks Coach, love your stuff, from over here in the UK too
coach what other muscle types are vital or crucial for qb. And are forearms crucial to throw the ball?
Forearms can help with grip strength and grip strength definitely helps QBs! So legs, core, upper body mobility and grip
@@firstdowntraining thank you coach your changing my style of play for the better on the field
I heard that the half or quarter squats help better than the full squats. What do you think?
It can help with explosiveness for sure- I think for QBs getting to parallel or slightly below helps a lot with strength but I think it’s good to do all 3
And can you do a dionte Johnson route running?
Absolutely. I’ll post something like that today! Thank you for the feedback
coach, do u have any tip for grip during the quick game as a qb. Sometime i can’t get a good grip and the ball ends up flying by the time i release.
Honestly in quick game you can’t worry about the threads or laces. Just need some kind of grip. I would practice warming up without laces to get comfortable with it.
I've seen Big Ben practice with a ball without laces
What about incline dumbbell press on low weight more reps
I think that can help- I don’t see the athletic benefit of it for QBs though. That’s what I recommend doing if you absolutely have to do bench
How many sets do u do for all the med ball exercises
Would say like 3-5 sets of 3-8 reps
I don't see link but I would like to go to the la camp please

Thanks coach, I came from the lower body video, what kind of resistance bands should I use?
Not 100% sure the brand but I would say anything that is medium or light resistance
