  • After 20 long years, F7A 819 has joined the land of the living following an arduous restoration process at TCRM. This is the first time she’s run a train since she left the P&C docks in 2000/2001.

Very nice video Conductor Whipp. The loco consist will really be a sight to behold when the day comes that we can get another F7A unit in matching paint.

Awesome! Man, it'd be wild to see that make an excursion up to Louisville for the Derby! I used to ride behind L&N #152 a lot back in the 90's when it pulled the matching blue L&N coaches for that locomotive. :)

That looks like a fabulous restoration and something to be proud of. What a beautiful train!! Too bad those two N&E units weren't at the end of the train like DPU's but that's still a good looking train...

It's crazy seeing the ex-BNSF locomotives now on shoreline survice. It feels like it was only a couple months ago seeing those GE's pulling heavy trains on the mains.

Wonderful! Absolutely beautiful video. What would have been perfect if they added the L&N GP-7 to make it look like a more presentable consist.
Those N&E units stick out like a sore thumb, but that's not your fault. Looking to seeing more from you!

@@jasonwhipp5721 Looks like there'd be a Grandfather clause to exempt locomotives that weren't built with them...the same way you don't have to wear seatbelts in cars that weren't originally equipped with them. Or like how you don't see them on steam locomotives. Or how you don't have to add cyclops tail lights to cars made before 1984?5? Or even how you don't have to have two tail lights or turn signals on cars that came out with single tail lights (Though you still need to roll down the window and use hand signals for those). :)
