Hey! French here, just for information, "Les quais de Lutèce" means "Lutece's docks" (Lutece is the former name of Paris) and "La cité suspendue" means "The suspended city" (which is why every thing in this hotel is... well...suspended) ;)
Hey Shaun and Charlotte, you are always so honest in your reviews and also to reveal and thank the parks or resort owners who paid & invited you … it’s a credit to you !!
The hotel with the river going through looked incredible and I was shocked when I saw the goats were literally underneath Gouderix’s track. Great video as always guys!
hello Shawn and charlotte thank you both so much for taking us on a relaxing exciting tour in the 3 different hotel locations I prefer the nature accomodations however I must admit i most definitaley loved the combined diagon alley pirate querky theming accommodations with the shop facades river theming along with easy access to the theme park, oh btw les trois hiboux is the 3 owls, I passed my GCSE French exam in 2001 at main stream school, great vlog both of you
Room looks very nice and very centerparc s. I wouldn't want my kids so separate and next to the door though. Love parc asterix. Loving all the hotel visits your doing
As always a fantastic vlog, I love discovering all these themed hotels with you both! A small info about the "Quais de Lutèce" hotel that you liked so much: it means "The Docks of Lutece" and Lutece was the name of Paris under the Roman empire. So the stream you saw over there was actually representing the Seine! I really love this scenery and would love to stay there ome day :)
When we go abroad we always have a separate bedroom from our boys! Always go for 2 weeks, how can people be in 1 room together for that long? Crazy!!! Xxx
Hi Shawn and Charlotte great video....I kind of like the hotel you are staying in. It looks so peaceful and relaxing...it's going to be beautiful once all the trees are all in full bloom....enjoy the rest of your trip..I'll be waiting for the next video..be safe...❤❤
Just finished watching...we were guessing if you both would have a bog breakfast after your dinner night before lol..absolutely loved watching this review.ty for sharing
Was so thrilled for you getting on vallhalla I know how e cited you were and if I had the money lovey for your dream of your museum like the train one I would give it to you this place you are at looks fab the second one you just went round has like a Scandinavian look to it but it is fab me and the family went to Chessington on Friday but my son was dissapointed with it the weather was crap but my boy is 6ft 7 so there were things he could not get on although the rides for younger ones he was let on like the gruffalo then they quede 40 mins for the log flume while I was going to film them and the ride just stopped there was a family stuck on the very top of the last lift hill lol but there was no announcement or anything we did leave an hour before closing so we did not get stuck in the traffic coming out as it was over 4 hours trip I think we will stick closer to home next time alot of the rides closed early as well weather that was be ause of the rain I don't know but I think it will be ither alton or another closer one thank you again for the blogs guys see you on the next one xx
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow this room was great i liked the themeing nature inspired. Thought the idea of having kids beds separate was great . Not to sure about being so near the door though. The owl was nice but I think it could scare little kiddies if they wake up during the night . The other hotels looked lovely as well . Always love a room tour thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm French and I live 1 hour from the park so I couldn't take advantage of the Asterix hotels. Thanks to you, I can see this and it's amazing. By Toutatis ! this is nonsense but i really want to get a room for one night just to test now. This is my favorite park in France because Asterix is very French and when you walk around the park there are so many jokes about French history or culture written or mentioned in the queues for the attractions. Disney is charming but Asterix is Gallic! It is our little village that resists and will resist again and always to the invader... the Romans!
Just thought you should know, Asterix is a comic book series about a Gaul village fighting against Roman Rule in the time of Julius Ceasar. It is nothing to do with Vikings raiders which is a different country and at least 700 years later
Interesting vlog, love the different types of accommodation, this is something I would love to see at other UK Theme Parks / Amusement Parks. With maybe interaction with coasters & attractions? Like Fly at Phantasialand, but with theming on this parks level aswell. Think if London Resort defo happens which I am still partly doubting over now, something like this would be brilliant at. Especially treehouses, nature village hotels. But well see if that happens as still bit of positive news recently, but been in this position before, been disappointed over & over and left more questioned whether its becoming more reality or more over time fictional. But hopefully its happening, but well see? But if happens, would love to see nature, bridges treehouses and accommodation like Centre Parcs there. Alongside other IP themed hotels and resorts own hotel? But back to this park, brilliant theming, hotel your staying in does look very churchy to be honest, but beautiful. Only thing I say about rooms look dangerous for kids near door, especially what if they get out in the middle of night? But apart from that. Nice, nice theming. Nice video, cheers again and look forward to more in future. 😀👍
If I had to choose, I would stay at the "Les Quais de Lutèce". I would put La cité suspendue at second and Les Trois Hibeux in third. PS: *I will* go to Parc Asterix one day! It's on my bucket list.
These hotels look beautiful! What are the on-ride camera policies for Parc Asterix, did you email in advance or just get the camera checked on arrival? :)
The hotels look amazing! Especially the one with the canal through the middle. Are there really enough visitors to that park to need 3 hotels? I’d hate to see such beautiful places later abandoned due to lack of demand.
Asterix was not popular in the UK? Because despite being French comics and productions, it spread to more places. In Spain, for example, we have grown up with their films and comics. Asterix and Obelix are part of my childhood.
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Parc Astérix in one of their on-site hotels! In this vlog, we take you for a tour of the 3 different hotels on offer at the resort, including a tour of our room at Les Trois Hiboux (The Three Owls). We also explore the two other hotels including the beautifully themed Les Quais de Lutèce and La Cité Suspendue! keep the good videos coming on the channel.
Would have been good to see the more of the food, drink and accommodation costs compared to a UK park like Alton Towers rather than just the price of a cocktail... Les Quais De Lutece makes the Enchanted Village at Alton Towers look pretty poor by comparison! We need a European theme park league table of price vs quality :)
Hi both. Great video as always, definitely want to stay here. What's the best way to do parc Asterix and Disneyland Paris in one trip? Is it worth renting a car or is a taxi sufficient or are there buses? Do you think two days in each is enough?
Thank you for watching! Check out our vlog from the park here ➡️ ruclips.net/video/-7jDby1JHIg/видео.html

Thank you so much!
Loved the room and the feature wall! Not sure of the massive owl that greets you when you open the door....scared the hell out of me! 😅
It was very different however we enjoyed it!
The hotel with the river going through looked incredible and I was shocked when I saw the goats were literally underneath Gouderix’s track. Great video as always guys!

That Owl Graphic ..What a Head Turner 😊
19:25 look at Idefix (Dogmatix for UK fans, I still call him Idefix though) what a beautiful Gaulish Village just like the comics
Love it! You guys always go to the small details in your reviews. We honestly couldn’t ask for more❤❤❤
Thank you so much!

The hotels look amazing especially the one with the river between the hotel. It looks really well themed
It was beautiful and one we would definitely like to stay in at some point!

Maybe the goats are part of the landscaping department like an old cemetery

These hotels look beautiful! What are the on-ride camera policies for Parc Asterix, did you email in advance or just get the camera checked on arrival? :)
It’s allowed for anyone with the correct chest/wrist mount

These hotels are great value if you take into account the free parking, entry into the park etc. A lot of theme park hotels don't include this...
Definitely

Thanks for your feedback, we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel as we arrived early evening!
Ive been asking my mom to go to this park, is it worth the money?💗
It’s definitely worth a visit and Toutatis is a great addition to the park!
I really need to meet you one day I hope I do at alton towers
Hi both. Great video as always, definitely want to stay here. What's the best way to do parc Asterix and Disneyland Paris in one trip? Is it worth renting a car or is a taxi sufficient or are there buses? Do you think two days in each is enough?
Thank you! There’s a bus from the airport to Parc Asterix which is very efficient! Two days would be fantastic!
What was your best part of the hotel
I'm staying in 211 right now 😁
Any idea what's happening with hex..seems to be closed at the mo?
Technical issues unfortunately
Wish I went hear I’ve never been to parc asterix
