New sub here. You are a money saver. I’m planing on doing my own work on my 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia base.
I had a misfire, and then went down the dark dark road of the internet and found the guilia forums. People there are 100% doom and gloom, immediately suggesting the engine is blown. I had a local mechanic swap plug/coil from the reported misfire cylinder to another, and the error code followed. However, Im not sure if he used OEM or local auto parks store replacements. The good news is that it drives, the bad news is that Im still going to want to replace everything with OEM.
But good luck finding the coils!
Like everything else with these cars, supply has been a challenge. I was not happy when at the time I needed rotors/brakes and the only thing I could find were chinese knock offs or really over priced rotors/pads. Next time I'll order from the dealer and have them on hand well before the time I actually need them.

Good vid. But you do not need to use oem parts to stay in warranty. There is plenty of case law where people have sued and won using aftermarket oem equivalent parts.

I don’t typically make videos in low lighting this just happens to be one of few I did. I’ll try to make them more in the day light and outside

What are the simple/ & worst case scenarios when it goes on limp mode and says “service electronic throttle” bought one used and tryna figure out the solution
@@kechu7263 just have autozone plug up an obd2 reader and post the codes here so I can help otherwise it’s to much of a guess. Simple fix battery, worst case a major engine issue ( service throttle does not actually mean service throttle with these cars it’s a generic message that comes with a check engine light

The car has the squadra tune so from stock 280hp it has 320hp and 360tq

There was no mechanical revisions from 2020 up on the 2.0T other then they changed the required oil spec slightly. SN+ rated went to SP rated. So I would say not really other than being new.
@@alfamods2.0T I’ve had Subaru for a long time but fell in love with Alfa. I’ve been to Milan Italy and have been through their museum. Now I want one but worry about reliability. I’ve assumed the newest would have all the bugs ironed out.

Yeah I just used them again no issues. Just the not so perfect cold start. I wish it was smoother like little burps

Thanks but I make videos when I have time. I have almost 80 videos I can only think of 3 off the top of my head I’ve done at night or in a garage with low lighting. If the information is conveyed that’s all I shoot for. Yes I could have recorded during the day or used better LED back drop but at the time I didn’t and in the future it may be that way depends on when I get around to making a video. Thanks for your concern.
