Yes nice memories for me I used to live in Independence City way before Portmore etc existed and I used to travel to school all the way to Pembroke Hall secondary pass Ferry cotton tree etc lol those were the days lol then I couldn't wait for weekends to walk over to Caymanas Park

Yeah,I heard that independence city was sort of a different city/town from portmore, then it was incorporated. Is that true.?

@@westkingston3135 yes it was more laid back and you had to travel to downtown for shopping etc not very developed as it was a brand new housing scheme etc but I enjoyed my time there as me and my my friends used to walk to Port Henderson beach and we used to race 'board horse ' in the canal for the cane field behind Manchester Ave where I used to live Lol
