I just bought a 7900xt sapphire pulse. I'm gonna play this game on a OLED 4k tv at 4k fsr3, probably a mix of medium high settings with VRR it should be smooth as fuck
i ve been getting 40 fps on medium with intel arc a750 and a 12600k at fsr quality at 3440x1440p. during sunshine or when using balanced upscaling during thunderstorms i got locked 50 fps without any frame generation. my sister who has a rtx 3070 paired with a ryzen 5 7600 got at 1440p high with FSR balanced 55-65 FPS without any frame generation. my Parents PC on which i also played for 2 hours has a ryzen 5 7600 and a RX 7600 High at 1440p with FSR Balanced got me locked 50FPS. It seems weird to me that RDNA2 struggles that much ... did you disable FSR ?
@@akiro5330 neither is taa at that res and frame rate, In that case I would rather stick to FXAA only. And you could set 135% render resolution and then enable QUality level upscaling...

@@RED--01 because its a bit hit and miss, getting more FPS does look nice at first but there are some situations where it can look weird due to "shadow frames"
@@RED--01 it doesn't really double, you lose like 10% and that result is doubled so 40 = 75 fps with AFMF, but it doesn't feel as fluid as frame gen(unless both are used together but them the image becomes an artifact fest)
This is a foolish cope. There's no way a company is going to put their worst foot forward for a demo. EA said something like this about battlefield 2042 and it released barely any better. It's shipping with denovo as well which is probably NOT in the demo. I get it though there's a lot of systems in terms of dynamic environmental and creature interaction. I'll wait a couple years and get it on discount after denuvo runs it's course.
not even that but rather just to test if the servers (both the software backend and the networking) are working and if they need to order another X amount (hardware or cloud at launch) of them

my 3080 10gb and my 5800x really struggled with this one. i guess its time after 4 years to upgrade
yeah very bad optimized at pc version
R5 5500 + 6700xt all lowest only get 55fps and sometimes getting drop at 38fps on 1080p

That's weird my gpu is weaker and i got better fps WTF. have you activated SAM?(i did it and got 14% performance)
my fps drops into the 35 ish but on high/ultra preset (FSR only for AA no upscale)

This game runs so bad man, it's so unfortunate. With my 3080ti and 7600x can get barely 60fps 1440p high with dlss

Chances are you are cpu limited the 7800x3d can barely get to 80 fps, because that gpu is more than enough for 60 fps+
@akiro5330 that's what I was thinking as well...
For everyone who things this is good performance - it´s not. High end PC cant garant like 100fps with all upscailers and fps gainers available...
How much average fps would you get with FrameGen or AFMF2 enabled?
I want to know too...idk why no one ever uses afmf..doubles FPS and latency is getting much better
@@RED--01 because its a bit hit and miss, getting more FPS does look nice at first but there are some situations where it can look weird due to "shadow frames"
Probably around 100 but at frame rates like this it's going to look awful and feel laggy to anyone that is used to vsync above 60 fps

2K, DLAA, frame gen, 110+ frames, looked and played fantastic for me, sorry y'all
Ima also go with 2k and do this combo but the CPU ima get the new 3xd, you think that's a good idea?

congratz on the 100ms latency in a mh game lil bro, im sure the actual 55 frames you were getting was worth it
Frame Gen feels terrible dk how ppl can say it play´s fantastic
People know this build of the game is literally made as a demo, while the actual game has nothing to do with It and is waaaaay forward in development?

If i was a company trying to showcase my product, I wouldn't showcase a piece a crap that barely runs, you know???
