Weah played 34 games.
Aaronson is a starter. Wes is a starter and will be again. Pepi is 20.
Reyna who hasn't played
Pepi does not need to leave. I have to watch more of this video for context, but i hope this isn't pushing mls players for the national team
Not exactly. They are encouraging the American players to get more playing time
How did you get the MLS from this clip?
@@MaximusTheChosenOne right??
@@MaximusTheChosenOne US national team potential players in the MLS start for their clubs. They are advocating for players who consistently start for their clubs.
Pepi needs to stay.
Cause he won’t get time anywhere else
No, De Jong is old af, Pepi will get more minutes in the future and eventually start regularly in a dominant Eredivisie team that plays Champions League
@@LordLobo52Josh is much better and maybe a new coach will be good for pepi but right now he’s overrated
The thing about pepi is that he has potential to become better we already know Sargent and haji sealing but pepi still hasn’t had a break through season we haven’t seen his full potential
I would rather have a dude who comes off the bench on a champions league level team than a dude who starts on a EFL Championship or MLS side….
What does it matter if they on the bench
I’ll take the dude who starts on a championship side
@@Tonynotsopranothen you’ll lose
Very true. Playing time in a lower league does not equal quality, especially when it comes to comparing MLS and the benches of super teams such as Inter or Bayern.
the point is that if they are not starting they likely will lack form and consistency
The guys are right. You truly love and work hard for something you’ve earned. Some have earned it some haven’t. I love all of our players but it’s time to be the best for your country. Us Americans need them
This is so true. We literally have two guys who start for their clubs: Ream and Pulisic.
Ream is done. He serves no on field competitive purpose for the senior national team anymore
Puli, Robinson … that’s about it
bro what? Robinson, Dest, Richard’s, Cardoso, Wright, Sargent all start for their clubs. Musah doesn’t start but he consistently gets at least 30 minutes a game for milan
Pepi should stay, don't listen to a guy who went out before a WCQ game and lost his career. Where should Pepi go, where he'll start consistently???? He actually gets minutes for PSV too, Pepi wouldn't start for any team that's better than PSV, so he should downgrade simply for more playing time? What if he goes to a worse time and barely gets any chances to score because the team isn't good!? I think Pepi will do good this year, he played well last year
Pepi isn't good not great . If he don't play at club he shouldn't play on national team
@@chuch723 Pepi isn't good not great, what haha? He does play though, he just doesn't start. He actually did well last year, who would you have replace him? Sargent who plays in a second division league. The US doesn't have a plethora of talented forwards if you hadn't noticed.
@chriskey7440 you scout the world. Their are plenty of dual nationals around the world. Pepi will sit and will back up dejong for how long the nest 2 3 4 years. He plays 15 to 20minutes every other game. That can't be our starter
@@chuch723 okay like who, educate me please? Balogun plays for Monaco, what other US forward starts regularly for an elite club, that plays in the CL???? I can't wait to read your answer.
@@chuch723 Pepi doesn't start for the US genius.
I agree 💯
Kiss the national team goodbye from a guy who no one's ever heard of
Lmao bro wtf are you talking about? Charlie Davies?? GTFO casual
What these commentators know but arent telling people are the national team is JUST FOR FUN. These guys are professional players with families and personal goals. They could go make $1M/yr and just play every week in the MLS or make $5M/yr and on the bench in Europe well guess what they will sit the bench and try to fight for a spot instead of playing every week for peanuts
1mm isn't peanuts and mls has always paid usmnt players very handsomely
Being on the USMNT practically guarantees you a DP contract in MLS.
The only player thats earning more than a DP salary is Pulisic, who would easily earn a special contract with big $ if he were to go to MLS.
some footballers actually want to make money AND play football, incorporate that fact into your cynicism
This is why it’s so funny when people rave about all the USMNT players in Europe. Wtf does it matter if they’re not even playing? Lol
pay to play
Berhalter did so much damage fostering so much mediocrity within the national team selections and making players entitled to a starting spot.
They’re mostly pay to play beneficiaries or Nepo babies.
