Chayangtajo is a small, scenic town perched on a hilltop with views of the Himalayas. It is one of the oldest towns in Arunachal Pradesh, India, located in the East Kameng district. Chayangtajo lies 37.5 km north in aerial distance and 81 km by road from Seppa, the district headquarters. It is also the origin point of the Kameng River, known as Bharali in Assam, which flows down from the Himalayas.
