There’s an Ace Hardware on Main St and a Lowe’s approximately 2 miles from there. Both are centrally located so probably about a 10-20 min ride depending on where you are driving from. 😊
Fyi it is also a pretty quick drive to Salisbury, a city near by to the south. We have food lion, Aldi's, and a walmart neighborhood market and mom and pop places you can by fresh food. You can drive 10 minutes to Boone's cave which has alot of trails and they're building parks along the yadkin river.
It's a shame that you criticize the city of Lexington's food/restaurant choices as a con after mentioning a hand full of restaurants. Although Lexington is famous for "Lexington Style Barbeque" and is commonly refereed to as "The BBQ Capitol of the World" and has well over 100,000 visitors each fall for the BBQ Festival, you never mentioned barbeque or the many BBQ Restaurants once. Well you did say you aren't from around here.
Hey Mike! Thanks for watching and pointing that out! I have mentioned Lexington’s claim to fame (which is Lexington BBQ) in other videos & I try really hard to not repeat myself too often although it does happen from time to time depending on the subject. 🤷🏼♀️Due to my husband’s inability to eat gluten as I mentioned in this video, he/we have to be very careful regarding what and where he eats. Which is no fun!! 😢 And I really wish it wasn’t our reality! But, here we are….So if you can recommend a truly gluten free option for BBQ in Lexington, please let me know! The only one we know of in the Triad area is Honky Tonk in Winston Salem.

I’ve been living in Lexington for 4 year, and to be honest it is boring as hell.
But it’s pretty quiet depending on what area you live.

You’re right! Thank you for the info add! 👏😊
