I was lucky enough to see them and witness Cypher pt. 4 live during their Wings tour in my country back in 2017. They are 100x more amazing live. They're such great performers and they don't half ass their performances.
So, BTS just finished a global stadium tour playing for 2.06 million fans. The tour sold an average of 51,106 tickets for each concert and tickets literally sold out in *minutes*. They have won the BBMA for Top Social Artist for the last 3yrs and this year added Top Duo/Group. Their album chart placements matched them with the Beatles and they have multiple entries in the Guinness Book of World Records for song streams. They are appearing on every major US talk and radio show and top artists from the US, Britain, Sweden, etc, are collaborating with them on equal terms. This year they presented H.E.R. with a Grammy. They were invited to join the Grammy Recording Academy. Next year we (the ~24m strong ARMY of varied demographics) fully expect them to perform at the ceremony and perhaps take home an award themselves. In Korea they wear masks as a fashion item. Like yeah its used for sickness and air pollution, but usually they throw em on as a fashion piece too. And also when they have a "bad face day". Like when you arent wearing make-up, havent shaven, acne etc. Its like when we wear a hat on a "bad hair day" in the west. But actually on these shows they also have the extra function of hiding their faces cuz they dont wanna be seen on tv.
I know others have commented about it, but I thought I would add that the air pollution is so bad in South Korea that even US troops stationed over there have been approved to wear masks while in uniform. So yeah, it's pretty bad.

In Korea they wear masks as a fashion item. Like yeah its used for sickness and air pollution, but usually they throw em on as a fashion piece too. And also when they have a "bad face day". Like when you arent wearing make-up, havent shaven, acne etc. Its like when we wear a hat on a "bad hair day" in the west. But actually on these shows they also have the extra function of hiding their faces cuz they dont wanna be seen on tv.

I know others have commented about it, but I thought I would add that the air pollution is so bad in South Korea that even US troops stationed over there have been approved to wear masks while in uniform. So yeah, it's pretty bad.
