The rather large disused hotel you see through the panorama window was the Sahara Palace that George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford stayed in when filming Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
@@ScafidiTravels Yes it was a lovely 5* tourist hotel too. The views are of course, "La Corbeille", a natural spring and oasis and worth a video in it's own right!! Hint, Hint!
Thank you! Hopefully life in Tunisia will be back to normal in 2022 when my guidebook comes out, and we can get back to exploring this beautiful country.
Is this the most unique hotel in Tunisia? I certainly think so! But this country has plenty of other amazing hotels and Dars to offer visitors. Check them out here in my playlist: ruclips.net/video/uw_YGs97im8/видео.html. Also, if you want to explore the Star Wars sites near this hotel, you can start here: ruclips.net/video/MCZSbRskC08/видео.html&t
Hi, i was asking about 2-3 months ago about drones in tunesia, something changed? i really want to go to Tunisia but i want to make some videos from drone
Nothing has changed yet. They are still in discussions about creating an online portal to more easily register drones under 800g (basically the same as the French registration system). Imagine the legislation is held up in parliament due to other concerns right now around covid-19. But I will make a video on the new regulations if / when they are implemented!
Scafidi, you are the first RUclipsr who showed unrecognizable things differently in Tunisia :) Keep going, u make a great videos :)
Thank you! I can't wait for my guidebook to Tunisia to be published in 2022, then we can share this amazing country with even more people!

Wow, great bit of trivia! Sad it has closed because it must also have had amazing views.
