How to clean the interior of a Miele built-in fridge? | Miele

Tips & tricks for optimal cleaning of the interior of Miele KFN77XX refrigerators can be found in this video.
This video does not replace the instructions for use and installation. Please refer to the chapter "Safety instructions and warnings" in the instructions for use and installation.
For optimal cleaning, we recommend observing the following instructions:
- The cleaning mode can be set in the display.
- Remove food from the cooling zone and store in a cool place.
- Clean the interior with a clean sponge cloth, lukewarm water and some hand dishwashing detergent.
- Clean the following accessories by hand only: the stainless steel-look trim strips, the storage surface with printing, the variable bottle rack, the separating plate with bottle rack, all drawers and compartment lids, the plastic parts of the storage surface with rotating base
- The following accessories are dishwasher-safe: the bottle holders, the egg tray, the ice cube tray, the racks and bottle shelves in the appliance door (without stainless steel-look trim), the shelves, the glass plates, the sorting box, the holder for odor filters.
- After cleaning, wipe with clear water and dry everything with a cloth.
- To avoid odor formation, leave the refrigeration unit open for a short time.

I have a mastercool fridge and i can’t figure out how to remove the drawers. I emailed the email address given in the comments with no response. No instructions within the owners manual. Maddening for such an expensive appliance to have to invest these types of efforts to figure out how to properly maintain it.

The drawer runners in my Miele K2802 refrigerator don’t look like this and don’t seem to release the drawer this way.
