    Welcome to our beloved country. The biggest wish for all us, Ukrainians that the war was over. I know that some Hasidic Jews will probably try to come over this year as well. Please, be very careful and if there is possibility to avoid this year's celebration that would be better to do. If the decision is made I wish the God will protect you all. And please follow all the security measures recommended by authorities.

    To be amongst thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of Jews, all on the same spiritual journey, has to be an experience that no words can do it justice. I know from spending Shabbos and Yontifs alone and the experience of spending those times with other Jews, is indescribable. Much more spiritual in a group and the preferred way.
    IYH, one day I'll be able to join in a community again!
    Shlomie, your videos are so amazing and very inspirational! Thank you for sharing sharing them.
    Thank you to the medical personnel who donate their time and skills to help those who need it ♥️. And, thank you to the community who provides for the necessary medicines and equipment. Yasher koach to all!

    Interesting! I had not heard of this event before. Does this mean you generally do not observe Rosh Hashana with your wives and kids?

    • @yehudahecht1520
      @yehudahecht1520 3 года назад +5

      The best analogy I've heard is this:
      If you're going to court, and your life is in the balance - who do you have standing next to you, your wife or your lawyer?
      The most fundamental reason to go to Uman - no matter what anyone says - is to be with Rebbe Nachman on Rosh Hashanah. Breslovers consider Rebbe Nachman to be the best lawyer; he's the one I want "representing" me and standing next to me when I plead my case before Hashem on Rosh Hashanah.

      @@yehudahecht1520 Thank you for sharing this perspective. For those who like me wish to learn, I'm pasting here a definition of Breslov:
      "Breslov is a branch of Hasidic Judaism founded by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, a great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov, founder of Hasidism. Its adherents strive to develop an intense, joyous relationship with God, and receive guidance toward this goal from the teachings of Rebbe Nachman." Wikipedia

      @@yehudahecht1520 1- Rebbe Nachman passed away. 2- during his lifetime it would make sense to spend time with your Rebbe and get guidance from him, now he passed away. 3- it's not good to leave Israel to go to lands where Jews were slaughtered., and Rebbe Nachman himself wrote about going to Israel and the praiseworthiness of it 4- supposed to spend holidays with family 5- we cannot make up new Mitzvoth

    Sangre llama. This is Latin for the blood calls. This is how I feel when I see these videos and when I listen to the music of the great Jewish musicians and singers. My Jewish blood calls for me to be part of my people.
    I’ve never seen anything like what your channel reveals ,what you reveal.. I have been in a Bible study fellowship and seminary classes for many years . I know the old testament well. I know the new testament well. I know in the Old Testament G-D made a way when there was no way. This is what’s happening for you . There is a way being made. You are going backstage, you were going into medical facilities , this is not just hap and circumstance . There is a way being made for you, because of you. This doesn’t happen for a lot of journalists or people with a RUclips channel because they can’t get out of their own way if you know what I mean.
    As I previously stated in my comments I was born a Jew but not raised Jewish due to the tragic circumstances.
    You have made me through your videos and through your intense spirituality and by viewing the same of others in your videos ,want to seek out more knowledge about Judaism. Oddly, I am a bit of a scholar regarding the New Testament. Life can be very complicated, but then you know that. Again, a great big thank you to you for delivering this insightful and meaningful content .
