Im so happy i found this video mid 2023! I have the Jibun Techo Standard, and i didnt need all the pages, but still loved the planner. This video made my choice for 2024 so easy! Thank you! 😍
Hi, I've just found you and wanted to say a massive thank you. I've been using a bullet journal for the last 12 months for work and like you I have to deal with a massive volume of stuff (meetings, projects, emails by the ton load - I work for the NHS in the UK), I was so disillusioned and fed up with the inane gazillion bullet journal vlogs that were absolutely no use to me whatsoever. However what I have learnt is that whilst I have no choice other than to be minimalist, I do seem to work well with colour and picked up on your idea of colour coding. I'm about to transition into a new journal and have found your content absolutely awesome - again I would like to thank you for taking the time to produce this content on top of your job! :-) PS I've subscribed and wait with bated breath for future instalments ;-)
I'm so glad I got the Lite version this coming year! I really like the Gantt charts being incorporated in the Monthly. I also like the customizable lists as well as the blank grid pages at the back!
So happy you're back and so glad you were able to take the time to take care of all that you needed to. I'm on the lookout for a 2020 planner and the new layout for the Jibun looks interesting! Thank you for the flip through! -Mari
Thank you for your kind words, Mari! So far, I’m loving the JT Lite and can’t wait to officially start using it the last week of November-the blank list and grid pages really make a difference. 👍
Only halfway through this watch and I already love your explanations of the two without going on random tangents.🙊 This is really helpful as I'm trying to decide on a good work planner for 2023 that's not Hobonichi. I'm using Sterling Inks common place planner in B6 for my catch-all. I currently use a stalogy and love the size b6 for personal but its too much setting up of layouts. I'm new to Jibun so I'm a bit hesitant as to witch system to purchase.❤️
The LITE does not fit into the transparent covers, right ? But is its bookblock exactly the same size as the BIZ and STANDARD ? I am wondering if one could trim down the size of the LITE covers to fit into the transparent covers? Like to hear your thoughts. Thanks 😊
The Lite is .25” taller than the Standard-I haven’t used the Biz and am not familiar with the dimensions-so if you don’t mind cutting off that much of the cover, it could fit in the transparent cover. I also think the pages would be fine because it’s around (or less) 1/8” shorter so there shouldn’t be any overhang. HTH and thanks for watching! 😊📚
That's not a perpetual calendar, it is a Yearly Index/Annual Review. It may be useful to focus on the 'perpetual' part, those are without the year written that could be recycled every 7 years or so (every January repeats once every 7 years if I recall correctly).
Agreed. I bought a jelly cover for my Lite JT from a seller on Etsy called SaltyKatieCo and I’ve seen other sellers make covers in leather and fabric for it too so you should be able to find something you like.
Hi there! Yes, I ended up using the JT Lite for 2020 because it ended up working out for me; sorry to hear that Jetpens is out of them. There are some sellers on Etsy and eBay that sell JTs (that’s where I bought my previous JTs before Jetpens started carrying them-just make sure to check the seller’s reviews carefully) or you can buy the regular JT Mini and check out my video where I show you how to convert all the preprinted pages (with Japanese writing) to gain 12 additional blank pages. Good luck and hope this helps!

Glad you found it helpful, Linda! I’ve loved the JT for years-hope you do too. 🥰📚
Quality is always worth waiting for...as always brilliant video xxx
Awe, thank you so much Deborah! 😘

So glad you are back with professional reviews! Thanks for the time you invest in making these videos
Awe, thank you so much! Check back for more videos in 2020-have a great holiday! 🎉🍾

Good to see you again. Hope you're well. I miss your watercolor videos.
Awe thanks! I also have a few watercolor videos planned so check back again soon. 😉🎨
Nice to see you back-your videos are very interesting and inspiring 😃❤️
Thanks Deb! Glad you enjoyed them. 😊
So glad you're back! This was a great review. Just ordered the Lite for my 2020 EDC! :)
Thanks Holly! Hope you love it as much as I do. 😊📚👍

Happy you're back
Thank you! 😊❤️
I’m definitely going back to Jibun Techo I love the updates to the mini. I also forgot the Gantt charts in the front of the book. LOL
Yeah, it’s a great little planner-sometimes I feel it doesn’t get enough credit given all the options it provides. Hope it works for you Carissa! 📚👍
Welcome back!
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
So good to see you back. I was wondering about the cost of the lite. 😊
Thank you! I bought mine on Jetpens for $27. HTH!
Thank you so much for this detailed comparison, I found it really helpful!

Thanks (they share similar formats). That’s what happens when you film at 2-3am in the morning! 😂
Does the plastic cover (included in the 2019 b6 slim planner) also fit the 2020 lite planner?
Sadly, it doesn’t. The Lite is 1/4” taller than the standard JT-probably because it’s meant to be a standalone soft cover book. HTH!
@@LilDivette Thank you for your response! I'd have to find a way to cover my new Lite then!

@@LilDivette you're the best, thank you for the recommendations!! ❤️
Excellent comparison - thank you so much!
You’re welcome, Andi, and thanks for watching! 😊
So happy I found this video, Thank You!
Glad it was helpful, Cindy, and thanks for watching! 😊
So I was wondering if you ended up using your lite? If not would you be interested in reselling to a humble follower. Jet pens is sold out 😑

I use an A5 biz version
I haven’t tried the Biz but heard it’s a great planner. How do you like it?
THIS IS A VERY GOOD VIDEO !
Thanks so much, Nickky! 😊
