Homepod won't have access to your personal context and the semantec index. You can increase the RAM so it can run a local LLM (so it can understand you better), but it won't have access to your iPhone's data. Come to think of it, you _may_ not need the LLM for it to understand you better - that may just be part of the improved Siri.

I'm a postman, and quite often I'll get sent to deliver parcels without a work sat nav so I end up having to use my iPhone. The biggest thing I want from Siri is to be able to just get accurate directions when I speak to it. Every time I try it always gets it wrong, as in a completely different town wrong
I haven't tried Google Maps for my job, partly due to Google Maps missing a large number of numbers on houses and named houses. Apple Maps is great for having nearly every house number and named houses available
Google Maps (at least in the UK) is missing a large amount of house numbers and houses with names. Whereas Apple Maps has almost every house available to find. It makes Apple Maps far more useful for my needs

We had an issue with the video version. Trying to diagnose, sorry about that! The audio version on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc, sounds normal
