I noticed a few young characters in the background. Including surprisingly someone who really looks like a young Director McMahon of Garden. Also, we saw in an earlier chapter that Henry was wring a letter addressed to his daughter and son in law, meaning he did have a family even if it wasn't with Martha. Additionally this probably isn't the same war that loid/handler were a part of given his age, and that in Loid's flashbacks he mentions a previous war. There has clearly been many wars between the nations.
I really liked this chapter. The back story was touching and well done and exactly what I was most curious about from the dance chapter. I do hope they reconnect - better late than never.
Yeah, I agree with your comments 🙂 I also at *first* felt upset that this chapter is just including the side characters, but the more I hear your comments and think more about it, I’m starting to realize how important this chapter seems to be. I don’t want to end up stating too many, but some I want to make is: - I kinda feel like Martha calling out on Henry’s punch goes back to Henderson’s understanding when Anya punched Damian to “defend herself”, and so it was pretty funny how he felt like he was super un-elegant because of that -Martha’s epic attacks against the bullies give me an idea of how cool she like how she appeared by the end of the red circus bus trip arc (idk what people call it) -like you said, this chapter is really unfolding on how the war has been impacting everyone, including Henry & Martha, so it was interesting how there was a specific reason that Falco couldn’t be punished for bullying Henry (which *really* astonished me 😧) -and it’s funny how he was called Elegant Boy/Man because I bet that’s what plenty of people referred to him aside myself 😆 though it was still interesting that just Martha’s dancing began Henderson’s interests in elegance 😂 pretty sweet though! Oh and what’d you think of the small chapter before it where Bond presumed that Penggy was trying to make Bond feel guilty about killing him, and so he locks himself in Anya’s room with fish or something 😆
Yeah Martha is definitely a lady of mystery at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens. As for Falco, maybe he will come out again later. As for the small chapter, it is in my previous Spy x Family video. Thanks!
It was super cute LOL didnt expect to go into there past like that lol. I through Henry's face while young was quite not elegant actually, he looked like a little thug which was funny since he was the opposite on that hahaha
Now that I think about it, from the time that Henry and Martha were students at Eden (49 to 44 years ago), I feel like there is going to be more information about the war besides Henry and Martha’s point of view beyond this chapter. I would like to see Fiona, Franky, and personally Donovan’s perspective on how he ruled the National Unity party during and after the war.
Great chapter!!!😁👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎉 I think it's great Endo devotes some time/story to character outside the main family. This mini-arc may take us to Chapter/Mission 100!!!! Besides, It's obvious both Henderson and Martha are/will be important to the series so why not. I'm enjoying it!!!😆 And while I do what a little more focus on Operation Strix, I want more focus on characters besides main ones - like this and the next (few?) chapter(s) is/are doing. (Also maybe a few more gag chapters too, lol!!!😅) Also, I agree with what you concerning the different takes with the series, including yours (with whom I mostly agree with). It feels to me that some fans expected the series to be a spy "action/adventure/suspense/mystery" battle series, with occasional slice-of-life and family material thrown in. Meanwhile, others, like me, felt it would more likely be a slice-of-life series about a spy *and a telepath* creating a fake family (with an assassin and a clairvoyant dog), only for it to ( *VERY SLOOOOWWWLLY* ) become a real family; and that it would be the "spy/telepath/assassin/battle/action/adventure/suspense/mystery" that occasionally thrown it. (P.S.: The ones with later belief seems to be right!!) It also feels to me that in both camps half knew it would be a "dramedy" (comedy-drama) series, while the other half "knew" it would go as usual and just start somewhat light-hearted and then get darker and darker (and to be far who says it still won't). And with the former, it's split between those expecting it to focus more on drama than comedy, and those (like me) who expected the opposite (it seems to be doing the later yet again). In any case, this is Endo's story, Endo's series. People can critique and criticize him, they have that right, but it's also his to create how he wants to. We should let him.
Yes I agree. I enjoy the spy parts a lot but what makes this special is the family part. The balance of everything makes it very good. If I wanted action, I can always read Legend of the Northern Blade, and if I wanted lore, One Piece is one of the best. I read Spy x Family because its Spy x Family and that is good enough for me.
Chapter 96 was a major leap forward for Operation Strix, so I don’t see an issue with focusing on other characters This is a great chapter, and in looking forward to see the war from the other side’s perspective
Thank you for your elegant analysis of an elegant mission🧐
Thank you for your elegant comment.😊

Ah that is cool! I didn't realize. And it may be true regarding the war but if so, Ostania and Westalis are constantly warring against each other.😑

I wonder if that is why he got his mustache...to avoid looking like a punk.
@@jayaniceday3602 lol that would be funny =)

Yes! I especially want to know about Donovan. However, I have a feeling we won't get that for some time.
I also do wonder if Henry and Martha’s nature relationship is a reflection of Anya and Damian’s relationship
If so, they would make good mentors for the young pair.
