Wow, I wanted the new E53 AMG... but this/that is pretty awesome. It is a boring box, but crucially, it is a boring box with large amounts of visibility and I miss that in cars. Hilariously I also love those door closing sounds. :)
It is the most iconic all-terrain vehicle of all time, it has stood the test of time quite well, this update looks very impressive on the street, nothing like it on the market, but I agree with Tomas, being so square it should not be very aerodynamic One day I got into one and despite it being a luxury war tank, when I closed the door I was disappointed since it is too flat due to its original design since 1979, there I realized that it must not be so comfortable for the cost. What it has, it is true it is more of a car to show, or for those who drive offroad routes. Greetings!!
Facelift no. 182. I would never go for factory mat paint. Normal paint and clear mat wrap is much easier for maintenance... I like G class (non-AMG) but I would never drive it because of it's clientele.
I’ve driven the G63 and G550 cross country here in the states and it was fun but not the most comfortable. Has Mercedes fixed the random windshield cracking issue?!
@autogefuehl There seems to have been two camps in the windshield crack victims: >1) A stone impacts the glass resulting in a crack - makes sense. the upright nature of the windshield doesn't allow debris to skip off and there's a obvious impact. >2) The ones I experience were seemingly random cracks out of no where. I mean you could be driving slowly, no stones to the windshield and then you glance over and there's a decent sized crack. It also happened when I went over a bump on the highway (nothing too jarring) and boom there's another crack. I thought it was bad luck but going on Benz message boards showed that others ran into this as well. Both times for me the cracks appeared on the passenger side in almost the same place 🤷♂. Some suggested theres an inherent tension in the windshield due to how it's seated in the frame or perhaps some twisting in the body induces it (I don't think there's much twisting in a G frame or body) but no one really knows for sure. Owners have tried putting a layer of screen protector type material to help avoid windshield damage/cracking but the results are very mixed. But overall the truck is very enjoyable and the side pipes on the G63 are pretty sweet.
We will soon present you the electric G-Class and after that, a driving review where you guys still have to pick in advance if we should review G63, G500, G450d or electric G
Dear Thomas, Whilst the Land Cruiser 300 is not officially sold in the EU, they are legal to import and certain German off-road sells them. Make a review of the Land Cruiser 300-series happen!!
If the new active ride suspension delivers and the G63 is not anymore dangerous while cornering , then the new G63 will be a hell of a package. You get the flex , the cool factor, the V8 and you wont have to drive it like an old lady. Lets see....
The issue with the G-wagon is that it's driven pretty much exclusively by douchebags, and mobsters in Eastern Europe. It's a cool looking car but whenever I see one I get a kind of visceral reaction because of this
Thank you very much for your interest in this topic. I also bought cars with animal skin leather seats before I did my research and got to know the industry. The most important thing is: With today's modern materials, you have nothing to lose, just to gain. You achieve the same kind of luxury and comfort or even better while having the same or better durability with less impact on humans, animals and the environment. You can use fabric/cloth, microfibre or leatherette. The classic approach is using oil/plastic as source material. Overall, a vehicle contains about 300 kg plastic. A car seat needs about 5 kg plastic. So the overall plastic share for the seats is very low and it is at this moment the most efficient way to produce a car seat. A couple of litres of fuel equals a car seat basically. So if you want to save oil/plastic, rather look at consumption for energy, fuel and heating and to other car parts than the seat. Note that animal skin leather also always contains a plastic coating for durability. However, long-term we should of course find raw oil alternatives. So going further, seats can be made from recyclables (e.g. from PET-bottles or old fishing nets) or even increased share of plant-based materials (like pine oil, canola oil or start-up materials like Pinatex from pineapple leaves or Desertex from cactus fibre or the mixed-plant-based Mirum, so be seen at ruclips.net/video/S1aNZeoatmE/видео.html). On a calculation base, by ditching animal skin leather from car interiors, the amount of emissions (CO2e) is reduced by 85 (!) % (www.press.bmwgroup.com/africa-dom-easteurope/article/detail/T0403389EN/on-the-market-from-2023:-bmw-and-mini-models-with-vegan-interiors?language=en) - and that is a very conservative calculation. So it is at this moment the most important thing you can do to make car interiors more sustainable. A good example for high-end luxury with ventilated animal free seats is the BMW X7 with Sensafin: ruclips.net/video/1pRNkW9nrrw/видео.html And the Kia EV9 with plant-based oil share: ruclips.net/video/6vXePQi_MAk/видео.html New leatherette materials can be superior in every aspect, even for cleaning: ruclips.net/video/u94YXJ72UTA/видео.html More and more natural materials are rising: ruclips.net/video/nRSsXEnwHDo/видео.html Also check out what the animal skin leather industry tried to with our channel: ruclips.net/video/nP_CvLlaFlI/видео.html For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: ruclips.net/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/видео.html Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally. Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest: www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/ard-story/videos/illegales-leder-video-100.html In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat is the "first" misuse case, the hide remains a profitable body part. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you demand it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and harms the environment, you make them more profitable. Alternatively, you could support industries with your wallet which try to improve the sustainability of materials. Also, if you turn the argument around to "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize that it doesn't make sense (and is ethically doubtful) to discuss the primary use of individual body parts of mammals. Mind experiment: You are getting slain down on the street; would it matter to you if it was for your smartphone or for your purse? Remember that animal skin leather is no different to fur, fur is just leather where the hair is still on. And fur is widely not accepted for clothing anymore, and of course not for cars. We cannot change what we have bought in the past, but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future. Would rather have the buttons than having it all moved to the screen like the EQs
i like to buy for its door closing sound.
How have they not put better seats in back of this by now. Over 150 grand and you get a park bench for a back seat.
Hi Thomas, do you have any information if the turning circle is now smaller due to el. steering ?
good question. I will try to resolve.
@@autogefuehlThank you ! I think it is interesting because the pre facelift turning circle is often mentioned as a negative fact of the G
@@autogefuehlUnfortunately the same big turning circle as before
Aww i didn't know she is a woman behind the cam. She's very good! ❤

Can mercedes give one amg g63 4×4 2025?
I like the colour
Do you mean color ?
This car literally came out a few years ago and youre telling me there has been a facelift already?😮
This generation came out in 2018. That’s 6 years ago, some manufacturers release a new generation entirely after 6 years xD
I wish they sold the 2.0 4-cyl in Europe, like they do in some other markets, not that I can afford it right now
Lol, and nobody would buy it because everyone would be afraid of the engine blowing up in such a heavy car.
G-Class off road package all the way
等待你的中文影片在(車之感)for G63
What has been updated I wonder
So awesome ❤❤❤❤
That’s quite a colour.
Luxury, with aerodynamics of a garden shed. 😂
4:25 that sounded satisfying
The front lip is too fat, but the G-class still looks nice otherwise.
Someone stole Shmee's G Wagon.
Shmee is a schmuck hate him
still a real Mercedes !!!
Same gle interior
If the new active ride suspension delivers and the G63 is not anymore dangerous while cornering , then the new G63 will be a hell of a package. You get the flex , the cool factor, the V8 and you wont have to drive it like an old lady. Lets see....
ehh...finally to see how the back seats are falling flat!!! Does this apply to all G classes? If so this will be my next car 🚗
The issue with the G-wagon is that it's driven pretty much exclusively by douchebags, and mobsters in Eastern Europe. It's a cool looking car but whenever I see one I get a kind of visceral reaction because of this
Dont forget the gaudy, fake women that slobber over them as well.
I love it!!!! 🥰
I actually much prefer the G500 look to the G63. I mean shoot, give us a G class diesel 6 cyl in the US, and I’d be happy with that.
In my country, this car has doubled the price 😢
Oh no! ‘Animal Skin’ How will Thomas survive sitting in such seats? lol
A good example for high-end luxury with ventilated animal free seats is the BMW X7 with Sensafin: ruclips.net/video/1pRNkW9nrrw/видео.html

For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: ruclips.net/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/видео.html
Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally.
Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest:

In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter.

Of course a G Wagon fan. But can't afford one. So, Toyota Land cruiser is something I will go for. No I will not buy a TATA JLR suv. Unless Land Rover Defender (short wheel base) allows option to buy with toyota engine and transmission 😊 and makes it affordable for a common people.
Keeping up with Kardashians fans are impressed
Great to see beautiful Lea in the forest.
I’d rather buy that than a Range Rover Thomas
The most anticipated Benz in Bulgaria 😂
russian mafia loves it too...
