All govt employess other than group a are considered for obc non creamy layer . You should read the gazette first.

A bureaucrat who removes reservation from this society is the real hero. I missed many final selection by just 1-2 marks due to reservation. There are under privileged people in general (UR) category too, but no one thinks of us.

There are too many limitations for General caste to get an EWS certificate, even the process is too difficult to get one.On the other hand, there are lots of reserved castes who do not require reservation, even there are no economic criterias set for them.

Seriously i can see many successful aspirants from only already well established family whose parents are well educated and well earning so the stress to work early doens't falls on their kid's
Im more interested in seeing those successful candidates interviews whose parents'are actually illiterate and doesn't have any source of living except their earning kids and those kids earning at the same time simultaneously made this remarkable achievement that will be actual motivation to others

After all IAS has now become just a source of living and nothing else and talking about Human rights and public issues is just limited to forums lectures seminars and in public speeches that sit unfortunately the real motto of IAS seems to be loosing its charm day by day
Except for the facts that only upsc is bringing more jobs every year and quick results within no time and so students are getting jobs on a continuous basis

But only thing is that i really want to hear it from an illiterate parents kids who earned and studied simultaneously and cracked this exam so to have extreme level of positivity in mind and heart
