Glad you youngsters enjoyed it. I'm 73 soon, and this was my 5th Boomtown. Last year I did walkabout, and this year I was a guest!!! If I keep doing boomtown, I will never get to the old folks home, thats the plan anyway.
I was in welfare during the closing ceremony this year and i was so gutted, my friends were in spectrum 360 so they couldnt record it for me So thank you boomtown The opening and closing ceremomies are very special to me i was really upset to miss it but i finally get to see it
I watched it from the top of the hill. There was absolutely no way I wanted to be part of the chaotic dangerous crush of exiting from that stage at the end that I witnessed in 2023. I'm sure that if anyone had fallen there could have been several injuries or worse.
It's like that every year because they shut the stairs Next year im gonna be the speaker hero and just gonna wait until the rush has gone then go blast tunes in hidden forest, for the people
