Fiddler's Dream - From Fiddlin' Arthur Smith

It's #fiddletunefriiday! So I thought I'd have a go at recording myself playing banjo and fiddle on this one, good to jam with someone, if only myself! Probably bit off a bit more than I can chew with this one on the banjo haha, but I had a lot of fun. This is a great tune from Fiddlin' Arthur Smith, I've taken inspiration from a bunch of places on learning and playing this one, had the impetus to learn it on banjo thanks to my good friend BB Bowness posting herself playing it recently, she has a great tutorial on her Patreon page so check that out if you want to learn her moves on this one. I've tried to keep the melody close to how Arthur Smith plays it but also have some fiddle vibe influence from Michael Cleveland popping through seen as he recorded an amazing version on a recent album and I had that version in my mind's ear. Gonna keep working on some of these banjo and fiddle duets with myself, definitely some fun to be had.
