So I wanted to get the Marucci cat x 2023 bat for the upcoming season for high school baseball, and they said the requirement for the bat is drop 3 and must be bbcor and I was wonder which one should I get the connect or the composite bat, and what’s the difference between the two anyway because I have no idea, thanks.

The connect is a hybrid, which means it is half alloy, half composite. The composite is full composite. I can’t say which bag would be good for you, but if you’ve never swung BBCOR, go with the original 1-piece,
