I'm not associated with Zenimax in any way, but the ESO Plus subscription is well worth the $15 per month if only for the bottomless crafting bag. It's a huge quality of life improvement being able to loot unlimited amounts of crafting materials without having to constantly sell, juggle bank space between characters, create mules for storage, etc. Prior to the bag being available, I used to have to spend about 30 min of a 2-hour play session just doing inventory management. Plus all the DLC are included in the subscription (and a mount). Also, if you are on PC, UI add-ons for skyshards and lore books are extremely helpful.
As a new player to ESO, but a veteran MMO gamer, this helped organize the path and priorities of leveling for ESO for me. Your content is extremely helpful, Deltia. Thank you.
Decided to start a brand new build since my first one was just an experiment. Watched the lot of your videos and wrote down a lot of good things that you said. Took some screenshots. Did a bunch of research.... And my character, at level 13, is KILLING IT! The game was always fun, even with a shitty build, but it's so cool to just slice my way through now! thank you thank you thank you
I'm new to ESO, I just bought the game yesterday. After watching a few videos I settled on imperial Templar. That lead me to your channel, I'm so thankful I found your content. I would definitely want to see you chronicle your journey. Thank you.
This is awesome for new players! I'd love to see another 20 minutes or so video of you in the process that you're explaining...just cut sections of video out of you running around and get straight to how you run from delve to delve, throw in world bosses, do the anchors, etc etc. Good job!
I gotta give that to you Deltia, you have formed your own little sub-community throughout ESO games and even multiple platforms and yet it still tends to stay a mostly positive environment, props to you man and the people that follow your channel. This stuff is awesome
videos like this from you in past years is what I learned everything off of in this game. awesome you're still doing this. you are a genuine person and a positive force in eso's community, keep up the good work!
Whenever I start a new character, I spend 10-20 minutes grinding in the Wailing Prison area for gear and experience. I normally stop when I get a better weapon and a full set of gear. Good guide Deltia.
Thanks a lot for this my dude. I just bought the game yesterday and when i 1st staryed playing i didnt know wtf i was doing. This was a very simplified and noob friendly guide on how to get started so that when i hit endgame im not gonna be like "oh shit i didnt level any of that crap". Subbed and liked!
this Video covered most of the questions i had. I wanted to try TESO again, but was a little bit afraid of all that different skill-trees and had nö idea which way of leveling is effectiv. Because there are so many Guides on RUclips which arent for players who are really new to the game. So thank you very much for this newbie guide!
Even though I played for a while it's good to get this kind of information as someone coming back with 1T, also good to show my brother who's considering playing. Also, I'd love an update on leveling build of DK. Thanks for the time you put in.
A buddy of mine just started the game for the first time. I'll be sure to send this video and the next part to him. You explain the importance a lot of Passives a lot better than I do hahaha
Hello! I appreciate this video a lot. I'm new to this game and genre and there's a lot of things I do not understand. I seen your guide for Magicka Templar on you web site and I love it because you recommend skills by level. Unfortunately you don't have guides like that for other builds and are more focused for high level and CP points builds. I love your content, keep the excellent work.
I really like this video, I bought the game about 2 or 3 weeks ago and found your channel. it is very helpful, the only thing missing was a series like this. as I didn't understand what most of the abilities were and especially morphs. so yes, i think that you should do a series leveling your character as I think it will help new and old players. thanks again deltias, hope you stay in good health
The unequipped weapon but slotted ability idea is intriguing. Down the line you never know what you'll want for a build so having options already leveled sounds good. On Templar I really only use my heal and werewolf, most mobs go down with light/heavy attacks so having 4 slots to level stuff seems great.
Holy sheep shit.... I'm new to ESO playing on PS4. This is the best hands down guide for new players. Thanks for a awesome content man. Look forward to more as I get a hold of this game.
Great vids! Getting back into ESO to prepare for Morrowind. Also moving from PS4 to PC now. You videos really help me get back into the grove. Keep up the great work!
Sister and I are making this our main mmo come Friday since Steam is doing the gold edition and the regular edition. Subbed to since your community is positive and seems to be real chil and friendly.
Should def catalog this character! I love your videos they are extremely informative! I'm not so good at mmorpg style games and it's hard to follow your builds sometimes because I don't know what skills morphed into the ones your using and so forth. This type of video is going to be extremely helpful! Thanks for the video keep it up!
Really good guide dude. Im a good old MMORPG player but new to the elder scrolls sries. Very useful tips on what to focus when leveling so when i reach max lvl i dont have to go back griding. YOU SAVED ME A LOT OF TIME, THANK YOU.
Really nice video, deltia! It really gives me motivation to play this game again! And I would love to see how you play your character from early to late game. :D
Deltia's Gaming Is it viable to run a STAMINA DK wearing heavy armor? (Or will I miss out on the bonus damage from not wearing medium armor?) P.S. I like to use a great sword or a mace. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!
I've got a Stam DK (2H & Bow) and got sick of dying with medium armour lol. I was a magic tank with heavy armour sword and shield and healing staff before, but wanted more damage. My Stam DK I've now switched to have 5 black rose heavy armour for more resources back which helps to keep dishing out damage/survive, 1 light, 1 medium with 2 x Mighty Chudan helmet and shoulders for extra resistance, 3 agility necklace and rings with 2x extra damage enchantments and 1x max stamina ( I could go all damage). Now I'm after Maelstrom mace and bow to complete my setup. I feel so much more tanky now then before with my 2H & Bow setup, now that I have heavy armour. And can still deal the damage even better I reckon cause I can just keep attacking more and take more damage whilst still seeing big damage and dps. I'm owning and killing way more in pvp now and have even started taking some max lvl guys with 300 champion points, I hope I explained that ok.
I like this video. I only have one character I play so far on Xbox One. He is a Stamina Nightblade Bosmer. I like the game quests and stuff. Love the storylines. Not a grinder just enjoy ESO. Play every now and then couple times a week. Fun game.
I think Vids like this are great!! Doesn't help me directly but the easier time new players have getting through the initial levelling process the more likely they are to stick around and make this game their main game which in turn is good for us vets, I want this game to be around for many more years and it won't be without the player base so more noob friendly videos Delt :)
I'd like to see Deltia Force leveling. I'm a veteran player but it's always enjoyabe sitting back watching a loooong Deltia video. :) Just like the old days of inferno nugget. :)
Enjoyed the video man. I would actually like to see kind of a progressive video series of leveling this character. I'm actually doing the same thing on ps4. I recently switched to the EU server after watching another one of your videos of you getting to cp 160. I totally agree that starting with a templar is thay to go. they have such good survivability, good damage, and are just fun to play. Thanks for the inspiration.
Also new players, use the group finder tool and do the "Random Normal" daily, it gives about +1 level for each, and they're not hard to do, helps you learn the game, and gives nice gear. Might put up a long queue time tho.
The starter islands drop training gear so worth doing for a newbie to get some gear. Also the mainquest isn't gated by levels anymore. You don't need to wait 5 levels to get the next quest just go back to a main city and you get the creepy old guy giving you next the quest. I've completed the entire mainquest by level 15 before.
Hanging out in craglorn around skyreach catacombs and asking the zone if anyone can run you thru skyreach is a good way to lvl. I sell skyreach runs and can usually level a new player with no cp and no exp pots in roughly 6 to 8 hours of gameplay.
Damn Deltia, you still playing??? I remember watching the fuck outta your videos before the game was released on PC and a bit after the release for new info. and outta the blue, I saw this video on the side bar. I see you still at it.
cant wait for part 2. Grind leveling as a healer is hard. Hopefully after you post the vid more people will be grinding in a single place so they can kill stuff for me lol.
@Deltia's im confused right at the start at 1:58 you show and say your makeing a arognian, thats not my confusion,my confusion is that to do the same on ps4 is different argonian is on Ebonheart Pact and your creation shows multiple choices of races per alliance where as ps4 version only offers 3 per alliance so my question is why is the same race on a different alliance on ps4 when its practicaly the same as pc in every other way i know ur createing on xbox one but isnt it meant to be the same alliance hence same starting area ?
It's a good guide. Thank you. The question that I'd ask is, why? What on earth's the hurry? You have a beautiful world to roam, a very complex game to learn, and no clock running. New players should wander, not sprint. Get into the game. I and my friends don't play a game; we inhabit a world. It's both less hectic and more enjoyable that way.
Thanks, my main lv 40 skyshard piece hunter did the opposite of this and all his fights of 3 or more is near death fun fights. My 2 lv12 crafting mages caught up to his storyline in no time it's kinda funny. I'll start picking passives and morphs.
This was really helpful I recently hit a roadblock and found I wasn't hitting very hard and was dying very quickly I may go back and try a new character :)
Would really love to see more videos for stages of leveling since i havent logged in for almost 1.5 year and want to see your suggestions for the game as it is right now
I went with appearance for race but ever since launch, the Argonians have only ever had a usefulness for healing/sorcerers. Every other race has some kind of 2-3 useful skills (the free racial passive included) but Argonians STILL have the short straw with just 2 useful passives but nothing good from the racial passive itself. Just for info, I went Argonian Dragonknight but if you were to look at it from min-max perspective, there's about 3-4 great races and then everyone else is kinda blagh. So out of 10 races, 1/3rd are actually game changing for becoming endgame powerhouses.
Also, saw some female based character name claiming they were you earlier in the day of Feb 4th. I didn't check on them since I was tearing ass from one skyshard location to the next but I think it was in Deshaan or Shadowfen (at least an Ebonheart Pact area).
I want to go one hand for more survival And dual wield for magic damage. Deltia do you think one hand and shield. And dual wielding is a god magic and survival build since both skills are stamina? If i go dual wielding, one hand and shield do i need to scale stamina in attributes or magic?
Deltia ~ I hope you read this as I don't know how to tag you. That said, I'm a total noob to the game (despite beta testing it on my dinosaur years ago) and I had an issue with your explanation about the collecting the guild quests. How on earth do I know where they are? You assumed that I knew what to look for. I'm not in Daggerfall, I'm in Ebonheart (true nord here) and have no clue what main city I'd find them in or what symbols to look for. I loved this video for many points (the whole placing one attack from each ability and one of both weapons you'll use and the whole 5-1-1 idea. That's brilliant!) But there were a few things you assumed the player knew, like what the guilds looked like or knew where to find them in each "pact." I got a great deal out of this video, but I still feel a bit lost one a number of key things.
Eric Rada In the region of Stone falls, the city of Davons Watch far east of the map will be your "first major city". While in the city, open up the map, fighters guild is represented by a downward sword, fighters is in the east of the town right next to the blacksmith. The mages is in the center right next to the bank represented by an ugly rune, I'm not sure how else to describe it.
Very helpful! Got this game for $4.99 from Best Buy. Been sucked in ever since. Just to be clear: as long as you have a skill point in a passive, does it matter if you do the thing that triggers the passive in order for it to level?
theologianjoe as long as you have the SKILL on your bar, it levels, not passives. Skills are the square abilities, passives are the circle things at the bottom. The more skills on your bar, the more the skill lines will level.
B Whit84 He plays all platforms all servers, his gt is Deltiasgaming. Add him and stalk him when he's online, he's trying to stream xbna one week, xbeu on others.
can I get some suggestions for a beginner character? like if you could recommend a class and a race for a starting player that would be easiest to play through and level without any knowledge of the game that would be awesome :)
Really enjoyed the video. Now, a couple of questions. What do you do with inventory? what do you sell and what do you keep in the beginning? What do you keep on you, and what do you throw in the bank? cause inventory is a bi#@ Also do you start researching straight away? Deconstruct or selling weapons? keep those you need for researching - again inventory....?
Go to Auridon, join dolman grind group, spend a couple of days smashing that and you will be capped, good on some crafting, and or pretty rich from all the loot drops.
SeaKraken1 You can do those quests, but only the main story, guild and faction quests give skill points and are actually worth doing and give big xp. Doing every quest in sight isn't necessary.
SeaKraken1 so there are a few different types of dungeons. Delves, Public and group. Delves and public dungeons are just any old cave, usually with a boss, a quest and a skyshard represented by a torch symbol for delve and a mountain for public. Group dungeons are usually a square symbol with a "+". These aren't "open" or public, set in an instance. The first three are available at lvl 10, you can go into the menu, activity finer, dungeon, either select specifics or go random.
SeaKraken1 How to kill bosses? Well, according to the patch notes for update 12 they recommend 3-4 people to beat on him. I myself can solo a boss only because I'm practiced, but I'd recommend a buddy, they take a while to kill and hit hard.
Thank you so much for your help with this. So if I am just running by myself I should just do delves, skyshards, lorebooks, dark anchor, interesting locations, and if I can public dungeons by myself then them correct?
I'd appreciate more content like this! The leveling process is often ignored in many builds.
Thx for feedback
I'm not associated with Zenimax in any way, but the ESO Plus subscription is well worth the $15 per month if only for the bottomless crafting bag. Exactly what someone associated with Zenimax would say.
DocSardo the bottomless backpack is essential. As well as the free crowns every month
I feel as if that's it's selling point. Which I kind of hate and understand.
finley canniff "free"
Crowns, all DLC, and a crafting bag. Worth it if you are playing anything more than a couple times a week.
As a new player to ESO, but a veteran MMO gamer, this helped organize the path and priorities of leveling for ESO for me. Your content is extremely helpful, Deltia. Thank you.

Deltia, thanks for posting all of these ESO vids. You absolutely have the best vids online for ESO. Keep up the good work dude.

Only 2 more years of content on this game left thank gawd !

WHY YOU ALL QUOTING STUPID STUFF I SAY? :)
I've looked exactly for this kind of video! It helped me a lot starting of freshly. Thank you and keep it up!
Should def catalog this character! I love your videos they are extremely informative! This game has been REALLY confusing for me. The description of how the leveling actually works was sooo helpful. Great video thank you!
I'm a simple man, I see Deltia play ESO on xbox, i like.
Told you I would!
Deltia's Gaming Is it viable to run a STAMINA DK wearing heavy armor?
(Or will I miss out on the bonus damage from not wearing medium armor?)
P.S. I like to use a great sword or a mace. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Deltia smoking a bit of that Ganja before the vid huh, haha nice.
Damn was I that bad?
Deltia's Gaming a little bit. There's no harm in it
well.. one could say u had been smoking somethin' haha:p
+Deltia's Gaming you did good, thanks for the great video
Just poking fun at ya, you work to hard mate.
You can actually now do the entire main questline at any level. No need to wait every 5 levels. Extremely good for fast skill points and nice EXP.
Great video. Would like to see more like this aimed at casual gamer as one progresses through the ranks.
this video came out just in time! I got the game yesterday on Xbox and love it
Prohit marker add. me. Coljak I'll help you out
I like this video. I only have one character I play so far on Xbox One. He is a Stamina Nightblade Bosmer. I like the game quests and stuff. Love the storylines. Not a grinder just enjoy ESO. Play every now and then couple times a week. Fun game.
The Great Legend Show are you on eu?
finley canniff no I play on the Xbox One North America Server.
The Great Legend Show I'm doing the exact same thing but.... the pvp holds back the game for me...
TheGhoulShow What do you mean? Do you think PVP is bad. I play it on occasion, but usually just in big teams. One on one I suck.
Can't tell you how helpful this is, thank you man!
first 2 min this guys talking about max level on all platforms, talk about being devoted. i respect that
I think Vids like this are great!!

iama 187er Just came back to the game after 2 years. The people are a little more helpful, but it's basically the same boring thing as it was.
thank for this! just started playing this game

so I'm a vet player 11 Max characters on Xbox eu & now started leveling on na funny thing is I still find myself watching this and enjoying it 😊
Thank you, thank you for these videos!!! I'm still new to this game and watch your videos like my ESO bible.
Also new players, use the group finder tool and do the "Random Normal" daily, it gives about +1 level for each, and they're not hard to do, helps you learn the game, and gives nice gear. Might put up a long queue time tho.

Don't forget 'Blood Well' Undaunted Skill! It's a great tool.
Awesome info, thanks, Deltia!
Keep up the good work and the great info for the ESO community
Thanks Deltia, just bought Gold Edition on the PC, so this video has helped

@Deltia's im confused right at the start at 1:58 you show and say your makeing a arognian, thats not my confusion,my confusion is that to do the same on ps4 is different argonian is on Ebonheart Pact and your creation shows multiple choices of races per alliance where as ps4 version only offers 3 per alliance so my question is why is the same race on a different alliance on ps4 when its practicaly the same as pc in every other way i know ur createing on xbox one but isnt it meant to be the same alliance hence same starting area ?
He's got the pact off the gem store where he can make any race for any alliance.

Would really love to see more videos for stages of leveling since i havent logged in for almost 1.5 year and want to see your suggestions for the game as it is right now
Great video,it helped me a lot!I would like to see mid level guide or "what to do when you hit max". ;)

Also, saw some female based character name claiming they were you earlier in the day of Feb 4th. I didn't check on them since I was tearing ass from one skyshard location to the next but I think it was in Deshaan or Shadowfen (at least an Ebonheart Pact area).
this video helped me a lot, your content is very good.
Big help thank you. Would love to see more vids like this, especially on Xbox.
Just bought ESO, thanks for the info!
I really enjoyed this video thank you. I would like you to continue with these

I want to go one hand for more survival And dual wield for magic damage. Deltia do you think one hand and shield. And dual wielding is a god magic and survival build since both skills are stamina? If i go dual wielding, one hand and shield do i need to scale stamina in attributes or magic?
great info as always delt!

Adolf Hitler Frostmare is extremely rare, I've unboxed 20 crates and only got 3 rubbish costumes.
Noob question. Does CP affects characters under level 50?

thank you so much y play eso for so long but strugle too much in pvp and pve you help me a lot
Could of you do a video talking about which staff with the new Passives (lightning, ice, fire) are more suited for PvP and PvE
Great video as always ! Im CP223 and I did not do most of the stuff u mention when i started.
Awesome video, are you on xbox 1 NA server?
B Whit84 He plays all platforms all servers, his gt is Deltiasgaming. Add him and stalk him when he's online, he's trying to stream xbna one week, xbeu on others.
I dont understand any of this but im gonna play this game tomorrow after it finishes downloading.
can I get some suggestions for a beginner character? like if you could recommend a class and a race for a starting player that would be easiest to play through and level without any knowledge of the game that would be awesome :)
Mag Templar by far easiest to play.
Deltia's Gaming thanks, i'll give it a try!
Deltia's Gaming , we need to play together on xbox🙏👌. Just hmu
nice vid. New player, so this really helped. keep them coming 😁
Really enjoyed the video. Now, a couple of questions.
What do you do with inventory? what do you sell and what do you keep in the beginning? What do you keep on you, and what do you throw in the bank? cause inventory is a bi#@
Also do you start researching straight away? Deconstruct or selling weapons? keep those you need for researching - again inventory....?
Start doing research straight away and decon everything even stolen gear. Make gold via quest turn ins and upgrade your bag space with excessive gold.
k, ty for taking the time to answer me!
Go to Auridon, join dolman grind group, spend a couple of days smashing that and you will be capped, good on some crafting, and or pretty rich from all the loot drops.
I love this I just started ESO and this is very helpful I would love to see how you did it step by step
Question I have run in to farms/quest hubs do I do them or skip them? Also how do you do kill bosses and do public dungeons?
Can you make a playthrough with this templar? It would be relly fun and informative series:)
