Hello! I really appreciate you comparing the new Rose Ecrin to the prior formulation! It is one of my favorites! I was able to see the newer version has a bluer tone to it. But, it still looks very pretty. I am curious if it wore as well as the original formula? Thank you again for comparing! In the future should you do more of these, would be helpful! I prefer the original blush. The new one has a slight white cast in the video or it’s just the glow. I don’t hate it though 😊

The new Rose Ecrin appears cooler on camera giving almost a whitish unicorn reflective quality. I hope that’s not the case with other blushes with shine/shimmer because I like a warmer blush. I’d love to see the Blurry green and gray in an upcoming video. I have blurry gray but need some ideas for how to use it.

I’m not a fan of sweet or powdery scents either. I enjoy light floral notes as well as bergamot. Really love this lip color on you. Looks like it’s as smooth as butter. Very lovely look 🥰

How do you get those tester perfumes? I buy SO much Chanel and I ask for testers and they always say they don’t do that! Most of what I wear is Chanel so I need to know how to test the perfumes.

I ordered the Rose Ecrin recently using the old listing on Nordstrom, but they sent me the new formula. I actually don’t have any of the baked blushes. When I started buying makeup again a few years ago, I saw the baked blushes and thought wth has Chanel done to their blushes? 🤣 The new formula is for me the old old formula prior to the baked blushes. I still have a pink from years ago and it has the sheen to it. Watching on my IPad I can’t see any difference. The Blurry series seems to have a grey or black talc base and the pigment mixed in, rather than the white talc base. I’ve sort of avoided the Blurry series for that reason, my eyes are set in with dark circles so they would emphasize that for me.

Great background on the blush! Is there any way to tell the difference between old/new blush by the compact, or is it just the slight variation in color of the actual blush?
@@KateWoodehouse the compacts are the same, Chanel has used that same compact for decades. The baked blush has a swirled ice cream look to it compared to the new powdery formula.
