You got lucky in that a rotary doesn't care, it will spool anything lol. Here in Au we use pulsars unless you are rich.

The RX7 is my favourite build. The older vehicles simplified. The almost analog engines just look the best, IMO especially when everything is redone.
There are many FC builds I've seen on the interwebs but damn Jim, yours got the perfect stance, fitment AND WHEELS bro.
Absolutely agree 👍 💯... i know this is a hot take ,but i prefer the FC over the FD... the FD is beautiful timeless body lines etc... but the FC is just 👌 .

There's a 4 rotor NA Cosmo local to me that makes 450hp and spits 4 foot flames out the back. That would go nuts in an FD, would be cool as to see an NA rotary build on the channel

Quick tip on all of the 2 part epoxies: quick set, panel bond, etc. If the set time is too fast for your liking, you can throw them in the fridge an hour or so before you use them, and it will extend its working/set time.

Definitely needs a hood, I'd recommend a stock aluminum T2 hood if you can find one along with, again, if you can find one, an RE reverse hood vent insert (takes the place of the intercooler intake insert and converts it into an extractor for V-mounts, nice OEM+ touch, RE made them and Retro-Spec copied them)
