It's actually technically illegal to practice medicine without wearing the white coat. I find it funny that A) the twins bothered to find a coat to begin with, and B), the twin wearing it is the one given the task of doing surgery.
Am I the only one that was pissed that Robot betrayed them? They helped him get a new body, we’re actually sympathetic during the cloning process, and he turns on them because they’re criminals. Robot sure is self righteous considering all the illegal things he did to clone himself, including breaking them out.

A thing I like to think as someone who doesn't know the comics is that the maulers cloning process is not 100% and that leads to them having slight fashion differences between them.
When Twins IRL get the opportunity to dress themselves they, often choose different outfits even if they have a similar wardrobe. You wouldn't be caught dead at a ball wearing the same outfit as someone else, would you?
More likely these differences are from enviroment. And a simple desire to oppose your sibling so you are not a carbon copy A lot of things remains same for them (like their ego that will always prevent them from treating a clone kindly), but these minor changes are not genetic likely

I love the Maulers. Basically, they look like a pair of dumb brutes, but they are some of the most intelligent people in the show. It's a shame their personality is that of a jerk; their skills could've made them overnight billionaires if they wanted to. Ideas from cloning tech ALONE: 1) Sell rich a-holes new bodies for $100m a pop. Billionaires become immortal, but that's someone else's problem 2) Sell the ability to "download" knowledge and skills. Humanity turns into a galactic-superpower with effectively unlimited numbers of scientists, engineers, artists, etc. 3) Create super-soldiers for Cecil. Cecil gives them a longer leash, allowing everything else. 4) Create army of wage-slaves. Just requires finding a single weak-willed human who is perfectly happy flipping burgers for no pay. Rent said wage-slaves to Burger Mart, make a fortune. Entire world plunged into poverty, but again, not their problem.
You could probably engineer a wage slave/manual labour slave. Reduce their sentiance sufficiently low enough that they are seen as animals/organic AI and boom you overcome issue around haveing slaves (they still are beholden to animal rights laws but you only need to feed and house them right, rather than paying them) if they are breed able then you don't even need the expensive vat-wombs to make more. When combined with the dowloadable skills for regular sentient humans you could uplift the ecconomy rather than tanking it.
I think I prefer this design for the old Rudy. In the comics, he was an ugly, hairy thing, but he could still move his limbs, he could still theoretically CONTROL his body, even if it was in a tube. But this. Imagine having a body that not only couldn’t handle the outside world, but was also twisted in such a way that the ONLY way you could control something was through your mind.
this design looks more human to me. the comic one just felt like they tried their best to draw some evil-looking ugly thing and didn't really take realism and rudy's personality into consideration

This is a cool show, everyone’s not black and white. Things are pretty gray for most characters which is realistic because in life most people are just acting out of pure self interest and aren’t actually going out of there way to be evil

Personally, loved that the Mauler twins weren't fooled by Robot destroying his drone. They weren't stupid enough to think he wouldn't have countermeasures up his sleeve, they simply figured they were tough enough to deal with whatever Robot's backup plan was.
In the comics, this took place after Invincible's fateful battle with Omni-Man, the incident with Gear-Head & Titan, & after the Mauler Twins resurrect the Immortal.
honestly 0:16 entertains me quite a bit, they both just reel back a bit in shock the dude didn't even care he almost got shot in the head. Actually made me laugh a bit.
The synaptic overrides we're supposed to hijack or shut down the body's motor functions and the toxin sacks are a call back to necromancer' where the protagonist got surgery to restore his ability to interface with cyberspace.... And the sacks would degrade releasing the same toxin that maimed him to begin with and as part of his payment he would have a change of blood as well as antitoxins injected in him. Given neither side trusts the other? Nice touch to add 'i would have been insulted if you hadn't tried.'

The synaptic overrides we're supposed to hijack or shut down the body's motor functions and the toxin sacks are a call back to necromancer' where the protagonist got surgery to restore his ability to interface with cyberspace.... And the sacks would degrade releasing the same toxin that maimed him to begin with and as part of his payment he would have a change of blood as well as antitoxins injected in him.
