This Minecraft Bedrock phantom farm is simple and efficient. You will be able to use it to get a lot of phantom membranes and XP. If you choose to use this old farm, you need to walk around the farm area for phantoms to spawn. Once they have spawned, then go into the tower. After you kill them, go walk around again to get more to spawn. I hope you all enjoyed this phantom farm tutorial! On my friends survival I used all your farms in it all I need is this one and the creeper farm. All your farms are so useful

I use the rode smartlav 2 which is a clip on - I think it is cheaper and better quality than a proper mic, but kinda inconvenient because it's clip on

quick tip- you can sneak mid air by pressing both jump and sneak.
I know this doesn't apply to this video but I've seen you have to fly down instead of sneaking on some of your other videos.

LOVE this farm! Simple to make and doesn’t take too much resources! Just remember you HAVE to us a stone button or else it won’t work! Also, I found that surrounding the cat at the bottom with trap doors keeps me from bumping him out of center when I climb up and down. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Keep in mind that phantoms will spawn more often when the player is at a Y level of 75 and moving up or down will decrease the rate they spawn, next to the mob cap of other hostile mobs
Deathpie24 /MrGoop actually I did extensive testing, the most efficient y layer to afk is actually y 75, silent also tested this and got the same result, I tested from y 60 to y 85, and y 75 was the best.

You can replenish the mending books by linking him to a lectern. And if he won't link then place down like 5 Lecterns in a room with him and once the green particles show wait 15 mins and boom
Phantoms are common undead stingray-like hostile mobs that spawn when the player has not attempted to enter a bed for three or more in-game days.
Phantoms spawn if the player's Y-coordinate is between 1 and 129. They are rarer if the player is at the extreme ends of this range, and most common if the player is at Y=75.[1]

thanks for the tutorial! just one thing, you should’ve clarified that it needed to be a stone button bc i didn’t know that different buttons activated quicker than others and i used a wooden button and burned my poor cat :( other than that though, great tutorial!

It feels like this could be improved with a Trident Killer design. Is that possible for phantoms?
1. Phantoms can’t get in the kill chamber
2. An open trident killer would just make the trident fall. Plus it also limits the amount of phantoms that can enter the chamber because of the size of the kill chamber.

Pro Tip: Don’t spam the button because the lava won’t get picked up (I know from experience)
If you don’t have scaffolding you can use a water bucket

This doesn’t work on Bedrock btw. I’ll run around with ~5 phantoms following me but as soon as I’m in the tower they either de spawn or don’t dive bomb me

I just built this. Its very easy design and easy to build but i waited 5 nights and got 2 phantoms. Not sure if its very efficient but for me as im really scared to go out in night and kill phantoms i rather use this farm, Thanks!

As of 12/04/2020 I can also confirm this farm does work. I play in xbox bedrock. As the other comments say be sure to use a stone button. Light up the surrounding area well. I even built a 20 x 20 x 2 wall around the farm. Lastly, it really helps if you extend 3 or 4 blocks off one side of your 3x3 platform, and just also extend the slab border for fall protection. This lets the phantoms see you and attack faster, because for me they would just float up in the sky and rarely attack. This was a solid fix for that issue if you have it. THANK YOU JC PLAYZ!!
Phantoms are one of the only mobs that spawn regardless of the mob cap
Thank you the extension really helps. However for some reason only 1 phantom spawns at a time and they only spawn when I'm on the ground, not while I'm in the tower. Any ideas? I am on hard mode.

Honestly, not the most efficient farm you've covered. I made this in my world but I'm not really getting the hang of it.
@Tr3v0r I did actually. But it still wasn't working for me. What I did is I got rid of the killing mechanism in the build completely and then I replaced it with glass blocks, so that the phantoms can spawn even if I was above the tower. It didn't make a difference anyway since I got a netherite sword with sharpness v, so they were still one-shot killed even without the lava.

i feel like this is a great design but could go for some improvements. if your tick speed lags a bit it can cause the lava to flow downward before it can be reclaimed by the dispenser. an easy fix for this is to use the new warped fence gates to keep them from burning and place a few open ones two blocks under the dispensers to keep the lava from flowing downward, while still allowing the phantoms to pass through!

I've had a different version of this farm since bedrock dropped for the PS4 and it's important to note that with this farm placement is key. If it's close to any tall structures or mountains phantoms can have a hard time tracking you. Plus I believe they share in the outdoor mob cap.
Yes they are not affected by the hostile mob cap

Tip: if you want use water to get up I used trap doors to funnel the water and to catch it and to stop falling through use a waterlogged trap door flush with the platform
It been kind of working because I haven’t slept for more than three days and walked around the area but I haven’t seen that much phantoms but it’s steal a great farm I totally recommend it😊😁😄
