I’m in college right now already finish army basic training thinking about doing rotc did you do the smp because l want to go to medical school directly after college but need advice.. did you get to go directly after commission

If you're in College right now there are a few options. I only can advise on the HPSP program. I'm not familiar with ROTC or USUHS. However, if you're going to do HPSP you'll need to talk to a school advisor to make sure you're on track to get done with all the med school prereqs and scoring well on the MCAT. If you don't have a good advisor I highly recommend finding someone in the science department at your college preferably someone in chemistry or biology. They'll be able to help get you on med school track. As for HPSP you'll only be accepted into the program once you've been accepted into medical school. When youre applying for medschool is when you'll apply for HPSP through whichever branch.
