‘’I set the criteria not to include artists who have had a top 10 hit in the last 5 years, as it’s LESS likely they’ll have another one in the future’’ So, I recorded this at the end of January and not 2 weeks later Madonna goes and gets a credit on a song that gets to number 10 🙃
Great format for a quiz... I know I'm being picky here, but from their Wikipedia site "Though they are commonly referred to as Hall & Oates, both members have been adamant about the duo being called Daryl Hall & John Oates - its official name."
I was the same with Deep Purple, that's why I thought it was interesting enough to include. Always glad to see people enjoy learning with these, so thank you!
That's an excellent piece of info, and I would have to agree. Bizarrely, The Offical Charts Company don't credit her as a featured artist on the song 🤷♂️
I got all 3 for Nickelback,Cars, Nelly Furtado , Whitesnake , Salt and Pepa, Fleetwood Mac, Bangles , Monkees, Hall and Oates and Police but 2 out of 3 for the others except Cliff Richard I thought was Elvis . I knew Prodigy but not the song titles Knew Sophie Ellis Bexter but not the song titles. Knew the Byrds but not the song titles
There's not a lot of time for me to get one out that quick, but I'll see what I can do! Any recommendations for artists on that one that you'd like to see included? (Not too many to give the game away, of course)

My husband and I enjoy your music quizzes! The twists you create make them interesting and unique!

Fair enough, and I do like to know these sorts of things, so thank you. I'll certainly try to remember going forward... barring any lapse of memory!
Got most of the older ones and learned a few. Never even heard of the Deep Purple ones I will admit. Looking forward to part two

I don't know my score, but I love The Kinks! 😊
Groove jet is Sophie Ellis-Bextor first top 10

Nicely done! I doubt many people would get all 3 on that many 👏
Could we have a Welsh music quiz for St David's Day please?

34/90
👏
Salt n Pepa Push It was 1986, not 1988
The song was released in 1987 but hit the UK charts in '88 🙂
