Thank you, I am going to give the sorting a good try, and I will be ordering a few items you have recommended. I think if I sort in likes in the art bin cases, they look strong, and stack, maybe I can make a dent. 😊
I feel that would be my dilemma if I separated the pads from the paper. Start out slow. Separate one bin. See what you have. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Did you watch my organize your craft room video? You might find some helpful ways to start. You’ve got this! 🩷
I had a really huge pile of paper pads, mostly patterned papers. But I really didn't used them. One day I've sorted them all decided which one I keep and the other ones I donated to our local primary school along with a box of other crafty items I've choosen to give away. I still don't use a lot of patterned paper and I choose carefully what I buy, if I'm buying any paper pads. Most of the time I make my own patterned paper so it fits exactly to my project.
After several years of paper crafting I gave up it because not many people send cards anymore. It really broke my heart because I am really good at it. Fortunately I gave them to a local High school teacher and I'm she is enjoying the huge boxes. You have inspired me to try something again.Thank you
I’m sure she is enjoying the use of your precious supplies. Don’t let what someone else does or doesn’t do affect if you send a special card. My family doesn’t really give cards. Many think it’s a silly waste of time. That’s on them. I love creating my art and making it special for the recipient. Thats what matters! They now know what goes into my art ad appreciate it. Although it breaks my heart a little when the envelope I craft is torn to bits. C’est la vie. Do what makes you happy. ❤️
Hi Wendy, thanks for the ideas for sorting and storing our paper packs, all help needed on that front. One problem of mine is that 90% of my dsp packs are from one particular company and some of the older ones are now out of style so to speak. The packs are double sided, great quality but like lots of firms who sale through demonstrators, the in vogue time is limited. Also the ink colours that go with pads change . I'm a senior with no artistic skill nor eye😂. I need to see other crafters work and then ask if i can copy or try to adapt. Help!!! Please how can i use these papers? The older ones seem to contain mosaic type patters or shapes you would find in fretworks ect. Any and all ideas and suggestions would be very welcome. Regards from UK 🇬🇧

I think that’s a great plan of action! 🩷.
Do you ever take the paper out of the pads for filing?
@@curlygone yes I have. But for me I have a bigger mess. The loose paper ins up going everywhere.
