I think the scariest part of this whole scene was feeling a tiny blip of hope for the rest of the world, as some of the Titans were blown to pieces... only to remember that they would just regenerate any damage done to them.
Well the ones blown to pieces probably won’t ever regenerate. It’s just that there are so many titans in the rumbling, killing dozens of them does absolutely nothing.

Yeah especially when he starts losing it against Annie, I knew that something was off when he kept saying I'll wipe you all out. Knowing now that the Attack Titan can see glimpses into the future he probably was doing just that and thinking aloud about what's to come.
I really love this about the show: You follow Eren his whole life, learn of his dreams and of his horrors. See his losses and his wins. You care for him and his friends. And then he turns, the boy-hero we all loved becomes literally ultra Hitler. And it is hard to watch because you know what is right but you still *CARE *about him. You watch his downfall and while you understand his emotional position and drive , you can not support him. As much as you like you know what he does is wrong and too much. I really love this psychological and emotional part of the story, where you can hold a mirror up to your own face and see your struggle with comprehending the situation. That little voice in your head that supports him and wants him to succeed. The crushing feeling in your stomach what his actions mean and your emotions Pendel from his POV to his victims POV.
Honestly, put in his position, with his experiences, and given the same power? I'd likely make the same decision, I'd kill anyone and everyone, even at the expense of the literal rest of the world to protect me and my own. The eventual euthanization of everyone I've ever loved or cared about, versus the rest of the world? Honestly it's a pretty easy call for me.

To be entirely honest, it was Marley’s consequences to their actions in the first place. The king behind the walls did in fact say to leave them alone or there would be hell to pay. Marley didn’t listen and now are receiving the hell they were warned about. They injected so many people with that spinal fluid and tried to create and gather titan shifters and sacrificed innocent children by brain washing them with their dogma. You can’t create something as destructive as titan shifters and use them as military power and not expect the same could be done to you. Control only lasts for so long. Don’t shoot a gun unless you’re prepared to be shot too.
No matter how you view it, Eren isn't doing this to make the world a better place. He doesn't care about ending the cycle for humanity to move forward here. Right now, right here, he just wants to pause the cycle enough for his friends to live in peace. It'll restart, likely with the children, but the rumbling would never break the cycle. Just start it over from square one.

this really causes a conflict of different feelings in me...from one side its terrifying, it looks wrong because its mass genocide, on the other even if it's cruel Eren is dedicated to his goal like Erwin was and wanted his soldiers to be and the choice of this OST over this scene really brings back flashbacks from season 3 part 2, he just wants to end all of this conflict forever and he is ready to sacrifice anything for it even himself again just like Erwin...but what would Erwin's reaction be if he was alive?

A choice always needs to be made. Even if it’s the wrong choice. Eren IMO knew completely that he was the bad guy. He wasn’t deluded into thinking what he did was right in any way. But his choice was to protect what he knew. Protect what he understood. Protect his home. And I think the saddest thing is that someone who rejects any and everything new because it holds risks or is hard is a prisoner even without walls or chains.
Well the manga ending is a similar copy to Code Geass years before. The hero becomes the villain in order to create lasting peace. The hero fully knows and understands that their actions and decision is flawed but see it as a way to bring divided people together in pursuit of destorying a common enemy. Lelouch in Geass knew 100% that he would be hated for the rest of time
Everyone always mentions and talks about his use of the attack and founding Titan but what of the warhammer? I believe the reason Eren became so monstrous was a combination of the warhammers abilities and the founders power. I think that eren observed the Warhammer and saw its power to create anything once he unlocked the immense power of the founder as well as it's knowledge of past shifters he was able to create that huge body as well as create the shifters from it. So in theory if Eren hadn't captured the war hammer I mite be a very different founder no?

You probably missed it, but Yimir is actively creating the titan bodies in the paths. She is responsible for all the titan powers. Even the limited lifespan of shifters reflects how long she lived before she was cannibalized. In reality she can create anything she damn pleases but has Stockholm syndrome due to the 1st Eldian kings treatment.

You have to realize: that would take months, if not years, to build. They were unprepared, not knowing Eren's plan until too late, and even after they knew they chose to try to stop it instead of making preparations to prevent it. To be entirely honest, it was Marley’s consequences to their actions in the first place. The king behind the walls did in fact say to leave them alone or there would be hell to pay. Marley didn’t listen and now are receiving the hell they were warned about. They injected so many people with that spinal fluid and tried to create and gather titan shifters and sacrificed innocent children by brain washing them with their dogma.
You can’t create something as destructive as titan shifters and use them as military power and not expect the same could be done to you. Control only lasts for so long. Don’t shoot a gun unless you’re prepared to be shot too.

this really causes a conflict of different feelings in me...from one side its terrifying, it looks wrong because its mass genocide, on the other even if it's cruel Eren is dedicated to his goal like Erwin was and wanted his soldiers to be and the choice of this OST over this scene really brings back flashbacks from season 3 part 2, he just wants to end all of this conflict forever and he is ready to sacrifice anything for it even himself again just like Erwin...but what would Erwin's reaction be if he was alive?

A choice always needs to be made. Even if it’s the wrong choice. Eren IMO knew completely that he was the bad guy. He wasn’t deluded into thinking what he did was right in any way. But his choice was to protect what he knew. Protect what he understood. Protect his home. And I think the saddest thing is that someone who rejects any and everything new because it holds risks or is hard is a prisoner even without walls or chains.
Well the manga ending is a similar copy to Code Geass years before. The hero becomes the villain in order to create lasting peace. The hero fully knows and understands that their actions and decision is flawed but see it as a way to bring divided people together in pursuit of destorying a common enemy. Lelouch in Geass knew 100% that he would be hated for the rest of time
The fact the Titan steam vaporizes the human crews is something crazy by itself.
Everyone always mentions and talks about his use of the attack and founding Titan but what of the warhammer? I believe the reason Eren became so monstrous was a combination of the warhammers abilities and the founders power. I think that eren observed the Warhammer and saw its power to create anything once he unlocked the immense power of the founder as well as it's knowledge of past shifters he was able to create that huge body as well as create the shifters from it. So in theory if Eren hadn't captured the war hammer I mite be a very different founder no?

You probably missed it, but Yimir is actively creating the titan bodies in the paths. She is responsible for all the titan powers. Even the limited lifespan of shifters reflects how long she lived before she was cannibalized. In reality she can create anything she damn pleases but has Stockholm syndrome due to the 1st Eldian kings treatment.

You have to realize: that would take months, if not years, to build. They were unprepared, not knowing Eren's plan until too late, and even after they knew they chose to try to stop it instead of making preparations to prevent it. Their idea of a "just in case" was the navy fleet, and we both know how that went.

This is going to make me sound like a bad person but I would do exactly what eren is doing if I love my home my friends that much I would too sacrifice humanity to save them so they can live long happy lives with no one to come and kill them. Eren is justified in my opinion he’s not doing what he wants to do he’s doing he needs to do and it just so happens to be genocide.
Nothing justifies genocide. But Eren has had it bad since his childhood, and he probably suffers from trauma and PTSD. I doubt he's doing all this with a clear head. Just like how Niccolo said when he realised he was about to kill Gabi, a literal child, then said how he even thought about it. He let his emotions take control over him, and it's completely understandable, but that doesn't make it right

Yes when you break it down what eren did is horrible but it’s what needed to be done which is why I said he’s justified because of all the destruction and death he had to go through at a young age watching most of his friends die as he grows up, he reached his breaking point and refused to let anyone else that he loves die. I would do exactly what eren did to save the people I love and care for so much it’s a price that I would be willing to pay and if it came down to everyone else’s loved one I’m certain most people would feel and do the same in order to protect the people you love and care for so yes he is justified

What I hate about the ending is that it just made no since. Like paradise whole purpose was to destroy there enemies but the main characters were like “naw that’s wrong let’s kill the guy who is saving are race.” It’s like Isayama had nothing better to do huh
