Marvel Champions - I play it with my 11 year-old, I play it solo, I play it with my group. Everyone likes it. At this point, most plays of any board game (other than Chess).
Solid list! My wife and her siblings surprisingly love playing Legendary. It is a common go-to when family is in town. I backed the latest re-release of Gotham City Chronicles and am excited to give that a try when it arrives in a few months. For now, I too am enjoying Marvel Zombies! Excited to back DCeased when that campaign goes live.
Great list, got the dark knight returns after seeing your review and had an epic weekend playing it. Had to read the comic and see the movies, to really understand it, but wow. Now got to check out thet marvel legendary thing. Not sure if superheroes, but GI Joe deckbuilding and Legendary Buffy sure are in my top ten heroe-ish list. Greets form Bucaramanga. Long live TDG!!!
I would suggest the Marvel Unmatched sets. It’s a very simple game to play but each character feels unique and gives you play that really lets you feel like you’re playing as the character. Very fun game and the match ups are pretty fair overall.
Legendary is a game I picked up many years ago now and I would love to own more expansions for it. Unfortunately I've struggled to find much of anything for it in the UK over the last few years whereas when I originally picked it up (must be about 10 years or so ago) Legendary was readily available. I certainly regret not picking up some more of the Legendary series when it was more readily available. Not really superhero related but it was hard to miss in the background, what do you think of the GI Joe card game as a purely solitaire experience?
Still my favorite super hero game. It's rough around the edges, but holds up great. You being a big FFG fan, you should give it a shot sometime. @@TheDiscriminatingGamer
Tesseract is a great company. The guy was a graphic artist and got laid off 3 times in a year. He was a gamer and had been making his own dividers and offered them for sale. And the rest is history. Surprised no Marvel Champions!
I love HeroClix, but it's more a lifestyle than a board game. Legendary sounds similar in that regard, though with it's steady stream of expansions. In ye old days (1995) Overpower was a fantastic CGC. Had some structural flaws, but fun, fun, fun.
Marvel United is light and a fun co-operative game (with competitive option). If you enjoy the same types of games as Tom Vassel, you may like it. He spoke very highly of it when reviewed.@@TheDiscriminatingGamer
I got a bunch of Marvel Zombies at retail and LOVE it. I prefer hero mode over playing as zombies, so I'm playing with X-men resistance now. It's so much fun. Top 3 for sure. I like your list, but I'd swap Marvel Champions, Marvel United, and Batman Gotham Under Siege with a few of yours. Marvel Champions would probably be #1 for me.
Funny I want to ask you what was your favorite Super Hero games. Have only played Batman Gotham City, DC Deckbuilder and Legacy. Love them. Of Super hero games not mentioned I like Dice Masters, Vs 2PCG and Marvel Champions. I would like to see Vs 2PCG and Champions with DC version. BattleCon: War Of The Indinnes and the S word I like as non Marvel and non Dc games. Vs & DC Deckbuilder, Dice Masters are fight games but I would love to see a Super Hero Card game where you play through a story like LOTR card game.

A lot of people love their Champions. I haven't played it.
Definitely check out the second green goblin scenario. It ended up being one of the best game nights we ever had.

DCeased looks great. If it's anything like Marvel Zombies, it will be great. Thanks.
I only just got Marvel Zombies to the table for the first time today! So far I'm enjoying it. I look forward to your review! 😊
Thanks. Played it again tonight.
Hail hydra is a good super hero game in which i truly enjoy.
I've not heard too much about that one.

Thank you, sir! I love the GI Joe Deck Building as well. Fantastic game!

Love it. I prefer to play it solo.
But I like Sentinels of the Multiverse!
Bah!
I completed my collection just before the 2nd edition was announced. I still love it, someday I'll try the video game.
You should try Marvel United. It plays much better than you would think it would.
Maybe someday I will. Thanks.
Marvel Champions is amazing! It's my favorite game.
A lot of love for it out there.
Have you ever played Marvel Heroes?
I have not. Fun?

@@SeerMagicX It's FFG?
Yep, old school. Like 2008 I think. @@TheDiscriminatingGamer
No Marvel Champions, Marvel Dice Throne or Marvel United?
Right. Nine of those.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer
Only nine? Why not an even ten?

Never played it. I kind of felt like I had a good Marvel card game with Legendary.

Sad there is no Sentinels love, but I was excited to see the Gotham City Strategy Game make the cut! Very underrated!
When I first played Sentinels I really liked it. However, it got samey really quick and lost its charm.
How do you feel about “Thanos Rising?”
I haven't played it.
Nice to see (such a small game as) Marvel remix in your top 10.
It’s really fun for how light it is.
No marvel united or marvel champions?
Nope - I haven’t played either. Don’t have much interest in them.

Marvel United is great to play with the kids. I enjoy painting the minis as well.

My list.
1.Marvel Heroscape
2. Marvel Zombies, Heroes' Resistance
3. Marvel Dice Masters.
So, I prefer DC Universe but Marvel has the bests games...
There are a lot of great Marvel games, but DC, and Batman especially, have some great games as well.
Heroscape was great! Wish it was still around.

Excellent.
Try Sentinels Definitive Edition
Good?
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer yes very. I don’t know how different it is than the original. Never played. But I really like this game.
You need to play Marvel Champions
Maybe some day.
In my opinion, Marvel Champions is the best by far. But then again, i dislike deckbuilding as a mechanic. Prefer deck construction.
Very good. Thanks.
