He could have been the rular of Mysore for many more years under the British but He was one of the freedom fighters of India who waged war singlehandedly without the help of neighbouring kingdoms like Nizam of Hyderabad, Marathas etc.why even wodeyars of Mysore. Tippu was the tiger of Mysore, sending shivers down the spines of British .
