Great Job! I have same car and still same original engine build in since 1985. Still drive it daily and bought it for my wife in 2000 year.

Nice work. You need to remove the bypass for the heater matrix. They block up with age.

Im busy rebuilding a mk2 jetta 1.8 engine... previous owner drove it hot and didn't stop, oil light eventually came on and still didn't stop, heard a loud noise from the engine... still didn't stop... eventually the car couldn't anymore because piston number one seized up and the conrod slammed through the block😢 But im determined to fix this bad boy and bring it back to life😂
