I use Coreldrae X8 and the plugin works great. Also in the manager you had on the screen on the right you can click on the eyeball t0o turn off the object instead of deleting it. Thanks for the video!
For cold environments for your k-40 add an aquarium heater and this temperature controlled switch. Inkbird-Itc-308-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat. Put both the aquarium pump and the aquarium heater on the hot outlet of the ink bird and set the temperature to 15c with it coming on with a 1° drop.
I like the home cloud idea. I've been using Mega cloud service for laser/cnc since my machines are in the basement and I design on the 2nd floor of my house :)
hello what the setting to cut 1 millimeter PC polycarbonate? i need to pass many times at high speed and low power or what? because the Pc tends to curl up
hey maybe a other solution for problems with the usb communication is to operate the k40 with a Raspberry pi. I have always probs with engraving pics, coz of the poor connection via UBS it came always to line shifts. Since i mounted a raspberry as control computer this problem is over. Simply i mounted the Pi inside the k40, installed linux, k40 whisperer, an usb stick... i controll the Pi via remote desktop and wifi... just the computing power of 3b is slow...better use a pi4.
@@MancaveEffects normal, via usb cable...same way like you do it with your pc... the corel plugin and k40 whisperer just sending G-code to the k40... in my case does this the Raspi... Windows background operations disturbing the uninterrupted sending of the G-code. A G-code which his unfortunately different to the industry standard...
wow....use whisperer.....make your life easier and more accurate....been using whisper since came out....was the main reason i then wanted a k40.....laser draw...corel draw.....forget it.

why would u want a heater other than keeping it from freezing? they put ice in the water to keep it cool.

Interesting, i only had this issue once, could it be your mainboard? 🤔 but how do you connect the Pi with the k40 mainboard?

Du bist doch auch sehr in der K40 Laser Sache. Könnte ich Dich zu einem gemeinsamen Projekt, einen Talk, überreden?
Das könnten wir mal machen!
