Hi, Marlene, I didn't know that pansies could withstand such cold temps. I love the pretty Vibrant color of the kale & the different varieties. Everything looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing your pretty flowers, gardens & tips. I hope you are having a nice weekend .🤗🩷💕
@DonnaDesigns Thanks Donna. They both do fine down to the mid-twenties. If lower. They should be covered with blanket or well watered. Happy New Year. ❤️
Hi Marlene 👋your garden centre is well stocked. There is nothing much in the garden centre here, mostly ever green. The place is sooo cold right now doing any kind of gardening is impossible. I like the pansy and Kale they definitely go well together.. Thank for showing us those lovely plants. It cheers me up. Expecially now that Christmas is over 😮..
The dark purple along with the yellow really goes well together. I did not know the yellow pansies smells nice. They compliment the Kale well ànd hold up good during winter ❄️.
Wonderful video! Love the experience with pansies you bring and all of the tips. I admire how you brought your pansies through winter to look so gorgeous in the containers in spring. These were one of my father's favorite flowers. I think I will be ready to try some this fall. I have a lot of pruning and clearing to do now before shrubs and overgrown places leaf out.
I love kale and pansies.im going to try and grow kale this year. I planted pansies last october as a cool flower. Hoping they survive in our harsh winter.i will have spring show if they survive.

@blessingsfromthegarden It can be eaten but is the ornamental type so doesn't taste as great. 😊
