I live in Irvine, Kentucky thats where he stays part of the time. So we are lucky enough to run into him time to time. Really humble guy. Damn good artist.
I live in Charleston, I remember seeing him at open mic nights at the V Club in Huntington with about 10 people.... amazing how far he’s come, couldn’t happen to a better dude
I feel so small. You are bringing songs and artists to the table that I would never in a million years hear any other way. There is so much talent out there that doesn't hit the mainstream and reactors out there that are single-laned thinkers so for you to offer up such a diverse catalog of reactions, makes me love you more every day. Thanks Pat.
First time I heard his voice, I wasn't sure I liked it. But people were saying if you like the old country days this guy needed to be listened to so I trudged on. By the time the song was done, I was hooked. One of my new faves, along with Colter Wall.
He’s a bluegrass wailing troubadour with a super tight country and western band. It’s a bad ass confluence of musical genres. Filtered through a sort of psychedelic filter if you will. He’s a great song writer too. A few good songs by him are: Nose To The Grindstone Honky Tonk Flame Hard Times Banded Clovis Follow You To Virgie Charleston Girl Whitehouse Road
Tyler is so amazing!! We have been listening him continuously for months!!! I love it that you loved him!! Do Follow You To Virgie, Nose On The Grindstone, Shake The Frost, Coming Down, Bibles and Bottles, I could go on, believe me!!
Okay so I just discovered your channel and saw the reviews for Colter Wall and Tyler Childers. I cannot stop listening to these two amazing artists and I'm so happy you found these guys also. Please keep the reactions coming!
I rarely like "country" music. This however seems to be something else. I can't say what it is but it captured me from the start and I would certainly listen to other work by him.
It’s more like Appalachia country. Kentucky is blowing up the “real” country scene with Tyler, Sturgill Simpson, and Chris Stapleton! This Nashville pop music is getting old fast, it’s not country anymore.
Pop country isn't real country. People like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Tyler Childers are changing the game. Chris Stapleton as well. Bringing country back to its gospel and soul roots where it belongs.
Sorry so many comments, just went and listened to some more Tyler!! He’s great! Very bluegrass, Whitehouse Road and Hard Times was great!! If you like this style listen to some Marc Broussard, he’s one of my favorites!!!👍🐶💞
Tyler is always amazing at taking the listener on a journey that you feel a part of. I'd also love to get your opinion of Morgan Wade's "The Night". Just discovered her a few weeks ago and honestly think she needs a little more publicity. I've had this song on repeat ever since. ruclips.net/video/IFWzPxDxGBk/видео.html
You just opened another rabbit hole to go down lol "Nose to the Grindstone" and "All Your'n" are pretty good ones along with all the other ones people are requesting.

His diction is poor.i am having trouble understanding the words..I will need to have the words next time in front of me...so this was not a good fit for me
Would it be better if he sang about how she's as sweet as dixie crystal while riding in his jacked up truck or sitting on the tailgate shaking her butt in cut off shorts while drinking that real good feel good? Or some other combination of unoriginal uninspired drivel that the masses now believes actually represents how country people live?

alma petry probably cause you’re use to pop country that’s on the radio. This is more like true American story telling. Americana/bluegrass

Well I AM from West Virginia. Lived here all my life. If u don't like WV and u live here...u can always get the hell out.
They need a meh button, don't hate it, but not won over by it
His diction is poor.i am having trouble understanding the words..I will need to have the words next time in front of me...so this was not a good fit for me
MargaretAnn Stewart u must listen live in deep city if u cant understand him
His diction/dialect is Appalachian, which according to professors and the like is as close as you can come to Elizabethan English in today's world.
terrible lyrics but def country with that steel guitar.
Terrible lyrics wow really guess you dont get the meaning of the song
TruthTeller 45 how is this terrible lyrics that kinda pisses me off look at what they mean
