- We FINALLY got the Genesis coupe out on the track for some seat time! I had way to much fun and am super stoked we are at the point where I can actually start driving the car now! I cant wait to see where this takes us.

Liebach bruh he’s struggling this much on stock rear wheel size I’d say power needs some upgrades too
it's crazy how much advice people gave in the comments, i love seeing it. My advice to go with it,since the car doesn't have all the torque, is to clutch kick it. That'll get the revs back up when you feel yourself losing it a bit in transition.
Throttle control with clutch kicking and second gear is the best,dont abuse the first gear too much
Also get that hydro setup going 👌🏼
You’re doing good man. Try letting go of the wheel more and catching it mid rotation. Other then that you’re doing mint 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The front end is very bouncy, front tire pressure could be too high, and you have very little angle, you need to fix a few things before you can progress, i can see you have the skills to hold it but the car is holding you back
Yeah also he says first gear is too long which when I drifted my truck was a power issue and once I put about 30 to 40 more horsepower it balanced out 1st.
@@that2.3literranger19 or maybe a lower gear ratio in the rear? I forget if he changed to a manual diff or not so maybe they have different gearing?
Oh yeah I know that most autos have different rear gearing then a standard. If he didn't then that might explain the long first gear

This is awesome robbie. Looks like alot of fun. I've been following drifting a longtime now but never had a go myself, but proper drift suspension and steering arms will help alot as you get alot more steering lock so it's easier to get bigger angles and pull it back 🤗

so great to see jenny actually drifting!! As many people said, try clutch cicking 2nd gear t orev it up and get the extra meters to link the 8 figure. As you learn how to drift, make sure you don't turn the wheels to the limit every time, or your "assisted steering fluid" (not sure if this is the correct word) might get really hot and boil/leak. If you want to learn really fast, you can get a sim racing setup, for less than 200$ you can really find out how the cars react, and when you get back into the real car, you have way more info than on the computer and it's 10x easier :)
So glad that you enjoy your car and start "making stuff" as you said :D
Quick tip, countersteer much more quickly on those sharper turns and around the cones. You're spinning out because you're not applying enough countersteer soon enough 👍🏻
