    Wait a minute! Adding missing using statements and detecting unused variables has been a part of Visual Studio since 2015! Your tricks can't fool me! Even if I like the rest of the features. :)

    Hello Kendra, nice presentation. Just wondering where you can download more themes? (I have downloaded and installed "Color Theme Editor for Visual Studio 2019
    ") Thanks. /P

      (In case you mean code highlight theme,) I used to go to this site: studiostyl.es/ and it used to work fine for me. For newer versions (2017 up), I believe a few tweaks are required to make the theme work properly.

    Presenter be less nervous, it's a good presentation.
    Really happy about the high dpi support, Laptop 1080p hooked up to a 1440p and 4k monitor.
    Fuzzy search is great, might finally move away from jetbrains products.

    11:35 I think this problem of dedicated type or "var" must be solved in other way. Same as a lot of other problems of type "I want to see my code so or so". Basically for compiler it is not meters what stays there - Type or ."var". So may be file must be saved always with "var". or in some default for solution or project/solution scope coding style schema. And after check-out file can be converted to style of particular developer witch he likes. And in check-in process it must be converted back to some universal for this project coding schema. If you could know how much nervous it can save for developers witch can not agree what formatting must be used.
    And this convertion (default to developer specific) must be also used to compare local code of developer with repository code to make it transparent for particular developer.
    I think for every developer there is a code style he hates. I, for example, hate this dedicated type declaration.:) It is not so good for refactoring. But some people like it. Or same situation with this:
    public void Lаla(string x) {
    ...
    }
    оr
    public void Lаla(string x)
    {
    ...
    }
    this is same situation. For Compiler is the same. Bot some people likes variant 1 it and some variant 2. Or, in JavaScript it is more suitable to use variant 1 and in C# - variant 2. But there is always colleagues who do not like one or other style and reformatting the code if the opening file. And this makes working climate no so good.:)

      We've discussed this idea at a few places in our repo: github.com/dotnet/roslyn/issues/28232#issuecomment-405613051
      For now, we still expect a lot of research/prototyping before such a developer flow works its way into the mainstream tools.

      the useful parts of codelens (changes) aren't included according to their website i think unless that site needs to be updated. and idk if codelens was supplying the references but i've seen that in community since 2015. i must not have connected something properly or i misunderstood what she said

      The recent documentation is more command-line focused for building .NET for Raspberry Pi, but there is nothing stopping you from using Visual Studio to do so! github.com/dotnet/core/blob/master/samples/RaspberryPiInstructions.md
