Great video the one thing that was missed though was disconnection the sway bar at both end links on both sides . It gave me a miserable time and had to go disconnect from the other side to slide down out of the way.
If you're a real B5 guy you'll know damn well those pinch bolts for the upper arms aren't coming loose like that. Be prepared to include the following tools: OA torch, air hammer, grinder to remove bolt head, center punch to get your drill started maybe even Sawzall to segment the bolt where the slits are to make it easier to drive out the sectioned bolts. You might get lucky and have some better success if you soak it in deep creep penetrating oil for a few days everyday Then attempt it.
We cannot show all the nuances and problems during replacement; this is all individual and it is not always possible to solve them at home. To avoid this, we always recommend that replacements be carried out by specialized car services.
