I worked on the DshK encounter for this mission. The RPG hut at the end of the mission was designed by the legendary Tony Barnes of Strike series fame from the 16 bit era. Ton of great devs on this team, a few are still there working for Ripple Effect.

@@GruePoo you guys did amazing on this game. Remember playing it back on the 360 as a teen. It was probably the most badass adaptation of modern combat for a medal of honor title.
Ashame the limitations for the game though. The quality wasn't very good for the time. But you guys have it your best and that's why I love playing the game to this day still.

True that. I remember playing this and thinking, "I've read some stories about the battles in this region". That sinking feeling of getting to the final hut and slowly realizing exactly what real battle this was reenacting, knowing how the real one went, experiencing the situation live as i was "in" it virtually. It was an incredibly emotional experience to have just the slightest taste of what those guys must have gone through. I didnt feel like the ending was done poorly though as even though the ending was different i think the dire stakes made the rescue all that much more relieving as I didn't expect help to come at all. I just thought we were gonna get wiped out and fight to the last man.

This game truly pulls you in and makes you feel like you are actually in the U.S. Military and speaking from someone who wanted to be in the U.S. Military more than anything, it is a truly amazing feeling! This mission also has a Lone Survivor feel to it and you truly feel the helplessness they felt that day. A truly amazing game!

One of the vest story driven fps and the single most stressful mission I've ever played in a game. You literally felt like there wasn't going to be an exit and constantly felt overrun. The multi-player was fantastic as well.

Never own a HD video game, but I think this is the best war game I've seen so far, in terms of graphic and story line. 🤔

I remember I had a strategy for this level. I’d always dump the shotgun for a PKM and carry it the whole way, that way when we made it to Betty, I had extra firepower. I would also use my pistol as much as I could to conserve ammo.
