      @BlueBoX_Stitcher thank you. I've always loved dabbling with photography. Most of the time its not skill more just a point and shoot scenario 🤣 happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵

      @Linda-Lovestostitch I do agree, otherwise we will suffer burnout and be away from stitching for even longer. Happy stitching 🧵🐎🧡

    You're Watering Hole is looking absolutely stunning! I love the details. I'd go down and over, but either option would work. It all needs to be stitched! I absolutely love your projects. You got such great progress! Have a great time at the concert!

      @crowstitcher thank you, it is quickly becoming my favourite piece to work on. I think I may go down that way I can reach the bottom of the project and work my way across. Happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵

    I consider the smaller projects "cleansing" projects. They help rejuvenate my stitching to prevent burnout. Thanks for the video and photos

    • @KelsStitches
      @KelsStitches  12 дней назад

      @thissideupthatsidedown I like that concept. Also it means I can get a finish a lot earlier than 5 yrs lol. Thanks for watching 🐎🧡🧵

    • @thissideupthatsidedown
      @thissideupthatsidedown 12 дней назад

      The last cleansing project I did was a blackwork map of the USA in January. Took only 65 days from start to finish. I'm a semi-monogamous stitcher, one project for many months. It was an awesome feeling complete the project so fast. That gave me so much energy and happiness to go back to the larger full coverage I am working on for a finish this year. I only have one more small pattern in mind for the future. I have loads of small patterns but am very particular when selecting one for "cleansing". It must be energizing or it can lead to the loss of my stitchy bug.

      @sheryldoiron1834 it's good to have some small ones in your pile, isn't it? That way, when you don't feel like working on the baps, you can at least see some decent progress. Happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵

    For someone who lost the bug, you did quite well! I lost the bug November through March, and during those months my stitching days were in the single digits. In March I only stitched one day.

    • @KelsStitches
      @KelsStitches  22 дня назад +1

      @angiefittro8372 it's hard when the bug runs away, but I've also learnt not to push too hard for it to come back because that is when mistakes are made, and sometimes the stitchy bug never returns. Take care 🧵🐎🧡

    Great catchup😃. Isn't it strange how the stitchybug just goes, for no apparent ?Wow those photos are fantastic Kel. It makes me titter, it's colder here today, Summer?????? than your Winter 😅. Not sure we're getting a Summer this year, which is fine by me as I don't do well in hot weather, but for the families and tourists it's not too good. Enjoy your time at the concert and spending time with your daughter, I'm missing mine dreadfully at the moment. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧

      @mrsmiggins6435 thank you, I always get a giggle when I realise that winter here in my area is summer weather for some countries. Don't get me wrong, it can get cold here as well. Today we've reached a low of 5 and a high of 18, and it's snowing an hour away. So I'm feeling the cold today. Take care and happy stitching 🧵🐎🧡

    The new hoop patterns for Artecy have the size hoops you need on the website. It just depends on what count fabric you use. I ended up getting "Tiger Close Up" in the last new releases (like i need any more patterns 😂). My stitching mojo has also been up and down the last few months. I'm hoping to get it back in the next half of the year.

    • @KelsStitches
      @KelsStitches  22 дня назад +1

      @debbieyoung5099 thanks for that information. I hadn't got that far to checking, lol. I do like the idea of the round patterns. It makes it easier to frame and display. Also, it is quicker to stitch without doing the whole thing, as it's mainly the focal point of the artwork.
      We all need more patterns. It's whether we get them stitched. That's another matter 🤣 fingers crossed that your stitchy mojo comes back soon 🧵🐎🧡

    Hi Kelly I always look forward to your videos. I love your shape wolf. I am currently in the HAED Sal and want to get that chart at the end of the year. I have a question about when you buy CXC threads for a chart. Are you able to buy the specific threads including multiples of one number or do you buy sets of colours. I like to use CXC for full coverage but don’t know how to get specific multiples of a number.
    I hope your stitchy bug comes back soon as you have made incredible progress this year. Take care Tricia

    • @KelsStitches
      @KelsStitches  22 дня назад

      @flosstubeIjustwanttostitch when I buy cxc I buy from aliexpress. I always go with the vendor that states 'choose your own colours' on the listing. Once you've purchased, you send them a message and ask for an Excel sheet to be emailed. Once you have that doc, you can input the required amount of skeins beside each dmc number. Excel will keep track of how many you are inputting so you don't have to keep a count. Once you've completed the Excel you just email it back with your name and order number. It can take a couple of weeks for them to be shipped.
      I prefer cxc for my projects, not only for the price but for the coverage as well.
      Happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵
