In an emotional interview, the One Championship star talks to ST sports journalist Deepanraj Ganesan about her sister and Fightstory, her mental health initiative dedicated to inspiring hope and building a community for those struggling with mental health.
“Victoria has always wanted to use her life to help others to do good. I know that one of the things she’s always wanted to do was to find something that she was good at, something that she loved, that would help others. And I know that’s what we’re doing with Fightstory.

Excellent example of Angela useing the platform of being famous fighter to open up about mental health and raise the awareness of this issue no body wants to talking about. It's OK not to be OK. We all have issues who try to pretend not is the liar. We should never fill alone. We are all in together, have some more compassion, emphaty, kindness for each other. Thank you Angela ❤

This was such an emotional interview that I cried. This is what humanity goes through. It does not matter what your profession is. Some feel so lost. It's like you are constantly losing, I don't know, but this is powerful. Thank you, Angela, for raising awareness and trying to help the human race. And RIP Victoria. Peace to the departed and strength to those that remain.
Seriously if you had the heart faith belief within yourself or a higher power you would know that over the last past few years if not more Victoria gave interviews publicly globally where she addressed her age and health concerns in a manner that would not anger upset or make those closest to her feel guilty for their lack of care. At the same time she demonstrated a purely loving desire to live life to its fullest extent and beyond by expressing physical freedom in the way of mixed martial arts each and every day all year long. And wouldn't you know after I wrote a message about specific aspects that would validate such. Those videos were altered diligently as a way to distort altar hide the truth.
Unfortunately your predetermined systematic response to life-and-death is not helping any child teenager juvenile from past present or future. Because when you live for the moment it is gone in a instant. In layman's terms you are ready to go along to get along by assuming and presuming falsifying on your own behalf. Taking whatever is most convenient versus what is needed to make real constant and consistent physical, mental, financial, spiritual, beneficial and rewarding progress occur within each and every moment. So you don't feel alone your lack of comprehension conscious physical participation in such highly evolved aspects. Is part of the common basic, average, normal, low ranking civilian stupidity that has been whimpering across the landscapes practically since the dawn of creation only getting worse with each and every breath that includes Victoria's parents and siblings. However thanks to Victoria they have the potential of taking a quantum leap in progress to make up for all the moments of life Victoria missed out on.
Dear Angela, you are a beautiful human being, a heart of gold and a world champion. Please find the strength to go forward, honour your beautiful sister and smile again for her and your child.

Dear Angela, your words are so true, so honest and very real. You are absolutely right. There’s still a big stigma attached to those with mental health challenges. For she had the potential of being one of the greatest if not the most relevant single aspect of femininity that could have naturally brought out the best in everyone globally. When I say best I mean constant consistent physical mental financial spiritual beneficial and rewarding progress occurring within each and every moment. No other single aspect of femininity or masculinity has that type of potential. Except for those who lived and died during ancient times before global pollution had diminished quality of life for all worldwide. What a wonderful interview. Angela one thing you should know is that by sharing your own story in such an open, honest and raw way, people can directly ‘feel’ and see that you have (and are) experiencing and trying to deal with the challenges you discuss. One of the biggest challenges for many people suffering these issues, is the feeling of isolation and that they are falling apart while everyone else seems so normal, in control and happy. When people share their story, then those suffering start to realise that so many others share their pain and they aren’t actually alone and that encourages people to open up and that is often the starting point to recovery. You are a Champion in and outside of Octagon.

Hopefully Victoria Lee story is told too and I he root of young peoples stresses over expectations addressed. A solitary mind can be your worst enemy. Perspective helps and so does communication without expectations and more empathy. Also at large realizing the world outside of yourself and life. Think about others but yourself first and your own life and where you want to go with it.
Everyone’s issues are personal but if you guard them so then you feel less for other people out there in the world going through worse because you can become so self absorbed. Snap out of it! Stop feeling sorry for yourself and live!

I know how she feels since I’m going through some rough times myself
don't be too proud to look for help, you need an outlet to let your feelings out. In 2006 I was struggling too, determined to take care of it myself. I drove around for months with the 'equipment' in my car to one moment go to a quiet place, listen to my favorite songs I prepared for that moment, and gas myself. I managed not to do it, at that time thinking I was a coward for not doing it. I now realize it was courage not to do it, and keep facing the world. I'm happy now, you will be too in the (hopefully near) future. I went through this alone, not wanting people close to me to know what I was going through. That was a MISTAKE that could have cost me my life, and my friends and family a lot of unnecessary grief. All it would have taken was one bad moment to make a terrible decision, I was just lucky that moment never came when I was alone. If you need it, please look for help! I wish you all the best!

don't know really what to say about your sister, because I'm 66 years old I have lost a lot of family members and friends, and I know there is no words to say what you are feeling. But here is some words that I would like to say I'm very sorry for the lost of your sister, I watched every fight you your sister and your brother has fought. When it comes to fighting my God your family has such a gift, I wish you and your family the very best life can bring and I'm a little sad because I won't see you in a UFC no more. But let me just say this now I know that you do have issues. When ever I had a hard time in life wanted to quit my job wanted to tell somebody exactly what I thought of them, but I always watch my mouth because I always was very concerned with my family because I was the main breadwinner. But always remember you have a beautiful child and a great husband put your focus on them when you are feeling the worst, because you got a lot to live for you got a husband that loves you you got a child that depends on you. Just always remember that Angela, God be with you and your family.

In order to effectively manage, maintain and direct mental health in a beneficial therapeutic manner you absolutely need to understand how it originated. Was it a lifestyle choice or genetically inherited? Something more sinister? A combination of all? Because these are crucial aspects which will help a person understand what may reduce and minimize such feelings. In addition to what will maximize on a person's appreciation acceptance of life. Because when I was technically still a child even though all the family members within my life constantly said they "love me'' I knew they did not care about me in a manner that would help me become the best man I could be, the best father I wanted to be, the best of all my different genetic makeup of bloodlines. One example when my sister who is 19 years older then me died the people she was staying with the night prior said it was a suicide by "drug overdose" I didn't hear the 911 phone call that would've validated that. I didn't get a doctors report that would indicate an overdose, okay. What I did get was a bunch of people proclaiming how much they cared and were so sad for what happened to me. At this time, when I was still technically a juvenile dealing with these legal medical problems. I thought it was a cruel joke due to the fact many of those same people knew the type of abuse and neglect my sister experienced as a young child resulted in her using drugs and alcohol as a coping method. Either way one thing is for sure when a child feels like their parents don't love them. The child don't stop loving their parents they stop loving themselves. If we are going to be for real. I've worked with the countries leading physicians in such matters. Equally as intense I wished and prayed prior to my 8th birthday for my soul and spirit to be held spiritually accountable to the statements I proclaim to the way I'm living personally and professionally. I guarantee you will never see hear another body man or woman in power, persons of legal, religious authority or leader ever confidently validate the statement they proclaim with that level of certainty! One reason is they don't have the heart, faith or belief within themselves or a higher power to accept that level of physical, mental and spiritual accountability for anything they do everS.R.F.

Whenever an American representing any genre or profession is getting an interview, it’s like he/she unknowingly chooses one from 5 previously prepared examples of the answer. Their thinking method is firmly set before they reach an adult age and nothing creative or unique is allowed to leave their mouth. Whoever uses the original construction of opinion is called comedian and not considered an educated person.

If telling the truth is a "prepared" answer then I guess you're right? She's speaking honestly from her heart, not trying to be anything but herself.
What's gonna happen with a person who seemingly has got more in life than 99.9p of any other species on this planet but struggles obviously to understand that. If she would understand her privileged status in life (which she solely earned herself, total respect) she would not be in such a state. Something must have gone wrong in her upbringing, parenting or/and is there something genetically embedded in her.

I don't want to sound discouraging but that's how the truth unveils itself sometimes example people started cancer donations many years ago raising millions maybe billions of dollars. But guess what the way the treat cancer is the same exact way they did prior to one donation meaning all that money did not improve the level of care so what good do they do for the cancer patient? In other words there is an opportunity to go above and beyond traditional medical treatment which Victoria deserved and needed. Because what I'm going to mention psychology mental health is not going to address because their focus is so limited Okay overtraining without the proper precautions has been scientifically linked to a hormonal imbalance that triggers off severe like depression emotions and symptoms. Equally as true the vaccination shot has similar side effects. So if little precious wonderful Victoria Lee was dealing with these two worst-case scenario situations possibilities of aspects. Her hormonal imbalance would've been five or 10 times more intense than any grown woman can handle under the best circumstances.

Suicide is the most selfish thing anyone could do
Anyone who perceives the most selfish thing anyone could do suicide is very very VERY low in IQ.
I think one example is killing someone with joy with the goal to benefit the person doing the killing is more selfish.
I think the person doing the suicide is shortsighted rather than selfish as they do not perceive the harm caused to others
