Mocchi was a ressource disadvantage which would make him severily disadvantaged in neutral, especially since the next wrong guess for him on defense would spell death. I-No's ressource advantage means less when she's stuck in a corner with the wall severily damaged. If Mocchi managed to get another hit in and bait the burst, he could have killed Daru with the punish combo + wallbreak. That's my guess
If he wallbreaks there, it would be a return to neutral (no WA, no super) and since he has very little health, any stray projectile from i-no would kill him. Plus, i-no bursting somewhere midscreen would give her so much space, compared to her having to burst near/in corner. In addition to that, corner pressure is really good in this situation because the next interaction is either forcing a burst or killing her.
To avoid 5HS recovery. You can't cancel 5hs into fafnir but you can cancel it into gunflame feint, which can then be canceled into fafnir. Gunflame feint also gives you a little tension
