yes i cried in the theater and during the drive home, what about it?
this movie was sooooo good and gave me everything i hoped for in terms of symbrock. the breakfast scene? so soft. the breakup scene? i was in tears. venom's coming out? cinematic history. their reunion and apology? literal romcom material. and the beach scene OH MY GOD the fucking beach scene. i've been unable to get the love confession out of my head. i can't believe we won.
yall i'm soo sorry for the shitty quality and the random slotslights watermark but this was the only downloadable version of the movie i could find 😭

Acc to the film maker they are indeed a couple. And acc to comics too it's heavily hinted. They got 7 kids and eddie birthed one. That kid is venom's and eddie's. Basically the symbiote and the host are in love. Ppl who don't accept it are blind and deaf when the facts are in the open and film maker openly confessed it in interviews.

@@friedspam7473 I mean I don't know if you have seen the movies at all but a lot of their relationship can be read as abusive.
Because in the beginning Venom was manipulating Eddie for a nefarious purpose before he changed his mind because he started to like Eddie and the earth, So manipulation is abusive.
And Eddie not considering venom's feelings and the fact that he wanted to eat people and protect the city as a lethal protector after he said that venom could eat bad guys is also kind of manipulative even if he didn't intend for it to be that way.
And also their argument contains lines that you can find in many domestic spats over the years. Lines like
"You were nothing without me."
Or
"You are useless!"
Basically stuff like that. Not to mention Venom breaking Eddie's nose twice and then Eddie also hitting Venom and both of them hurting each other and threatening each other and breaking stuff around their apartment is also found in many abusive relationships.
So their relationship can be read as abusive in many ways but I honestly feel like it's going to improve when we see them again now that they've gotten all their feelings out and they have a better understanding and can see eye to eye a little better.
But it's kind of hard not to argue that their relationship has abusive undertones. And it's not that we accept that their relationship is abusive and that it's okay for this relationship in particular to be abusive, But he also said himself that when you love someone you accept them as a whole person with all of their defects and that nobody is perfect.
That's not to say that you shouldn't ever leave an abusive relationship but rather some relationships are worth saving, And it's not a completely black and white situation and sometimes people who love each other can hurt each other's feelings without meaning too.
But their relationship is definitely going through some changes and they definitely see eye to eye a little bit more now.
