On a semi truck i did not, but it turned out to be basically the same as a car. If you're not familiar with engine components in general. I did a diagram based on the new DMV inspection checklist that helped me memorize exactly which parts of the truck it is that we have to inspect. I didn’t know anything about the parts. But if you take it serious and go over the paperwork everyday it will stick.
