Very interesting video. When I was a kid we used to visit Legoland every summer. We had an RV and stayed at Billund Camping. If I'm in the area I still visit Legoland. It's such a fantastic place.
I didn't know, they had a camping ground there. I stayed at the Legoland Hotel with my son years ago though. Also lots of cool decorations and themed rooms. My son was certainly extremely excited, when he found out we were staying in the R2D2 room!
What You forgot to mention is: It is smack up against Billund Airport - and the former Vandel air station. These will be familiar to some of the older USAF transport pilots.
I believe that Billund Airport, was closed a couple of years ago.. And that 'Vandel' hasn't been used for military - or civilian air-traffic, since the mid- to late 2000's.. :) I think that the runways are being used as go-kart racetracks, nowadays
That is great that you loved Ninjago Village. It is quite an amazing place to stay. That is too bad you had long lines when you went. We are really strategic when we go to the park, so that we get to the busy places first. The wait time wasn't that bad, but we also went in October.
This is so completely different than the one in Florida. I bet my boys would love it. I honestly didn't even know they had a location there too. SO many activities to choose from.
i like your videos and channel, but good god plz ajust your music, im sitting here turning the volume knob down, when the music plays, and up when you talk..
We would like to rent there just a parcel for our tent but we have a little baby and we need to prepare some baby food. I think I saw 2 microwaves in a kitchen - right? Is there a kettle or a place where I can connect my own kettle?
Yes. The common kitchen area has microwaves. Check out the post I have on my travel blog Tales from the Campsite and Beyond: talesfromthecampsite.com/legoland-holiday-village-campground-in-billund-denmark/
I just called it a store as not to mislead. They have tons of camping items in there, so it is just as much a store as it is a supermarket. People may not venture in if they think it is just/mostly food! :)
I do have the suspicion that the campgrounds is also an emergency barracks - not only for war purposes; but also for disasters. I still remember the shipwreck of Estonia, where a misfortune turned into a disaster on the scale of 9/11 - through sheer incompetence: We had all the equipment, we had the staff; but our rescue helicopters arrived at the scene so late that all they could do was getting dead bodies out of the water. Now emergencies like that fortunately don't happen every day, so the facilities are properly used for recreational purposes. That is just one of the reasons I want those Spartan transport planes that are just deposited in the US desert - just looking plain stupid at rattlesnakes.

My family loves camping and this place looks great. I love all the theming, especially the ninjago cabins. Great review!
I was there myself a couple years ago, stayed at the wild west cabins and loved it :)
We visited Legoland and stayed at Ninjago village this last summer. Our 7 year old loved it !
But there were too many people queuing up for rides.....

Marianna Frances This one is the original! ;) Thanks for watching!
Since Legos were invented in Denmark, Legoland Billund is the very first Legoland in the World, it opened in 1968
Heidi the creator of lego actually built lego land to keep kids out of his factory 😂
The playground is so fun🇩🇰🇩🇰

To be 100% I think you could have been a great in advertising, with a specialty in family vacations.
Thanks! I would love to do that! :)
Love your videos. :D Just one quick comment, supermarked is more like a supermarket, but thats just in my opinion. :P
