2 knee surgeries, I can feel for you. My first surgery was after I blew out my knee trying to fix a pivot. 34 pivots to keep running, I had 2 and they were bad enough!

Yeah knee surgery is no fun. We definitely have our work cut out for us this year with all these pivots.

@@RockyMountainFarmer it's been 50 years since I worked on one. I would volunteer to help you with them but I wouldn't know what to do with these new type pivots.

Good day guys, great video. We have a few farmers who are using the pivot system to help with their potato crops, it really helps them a lot because some of the soil is dry and not much moisture on the hilly terrain where they plant the potatoes. When the crops are done, then the spuds excellent. We haul potatoes from about 30 farmers year round to go to the processing plant. Now some are getting the soil ready for planting their crops. It's nice to see them get back on the land again.

That’s awesome. If we didn’t have irrigation here we wouldn’t be able to grow much because we don’t get much rain here.

Thank you for this video. I’m from Ohio and when we travel out west I’m always fascinated by these pivot systems.

I could stare at the mountains for hours. Don't think you would want to hire me.

I wouldn't have thought that 'manure water' would have been so clear. Why isn't it more brown colored?

The manure water is the green stuff that comes running out but when you mix it with a ton of canal water, it makes it not as brown and green

Yeah, we usually have a professional come weld, but he was out of town. I’m good with a mig welder, but not with what we have on the repair truck.

The new ones are great but yes the old ones tend to have a bunch of problems. That’s what we do all summer is constantly fix pivots. We have 35 this year
