    What is your opinion on 154 2.5 lug on a turbo summit x? Will it be that much difference 2.5 to the 3”

    • @DaveNorona
      @DaveNorona  11 месяцев назад

      Yes one of the best sleds out there is this combo, the track is lighter and has amazing track speed and is also much stronger, people miss out on this combo because their ego wants the 3 inch cause it is bigger. In my opinion the 2.5 is better in the 154

    Love these gen 5. The only complaint is they do not clear snow from the headlights. Leaving you blind at night

      @@therealjessejames111 that’s one of the issues I was talking about. Not near as bullet proof as the 800’s were.

    If this handles and rides anything like the Arctic Cat with the monorail, it won't be easy to ride, the expert package would be easier to ride except for maybe the initial pull to get it on edge. This is about the third video that claims this x is easier to ride and more stable and predictable because of the t-motion and flex edge track. It seems like to me it will have similar characteristics to the monorail on the Arctic Cat. If that's the case I don't know why guys keep saying this would be easier to ride then say the X with expert package. I just don't see it.

      Well I ride them all, one thing many guys dont talk about is all the new sleds are easier to ride. So it is harder for big guys as when they move their 200-2800 pounds in one direction it can be hard to hold it back or move it in the opposite direction, this is rarely talked about but something I see more and more. Back in the day the sleds were harder to ride for smaller guys as they required to be tipped up and were wider and flatter. So this I think has more to do with what guys seem to like. The t-motion is easier to ride and especially after day after day. You might not see this but the proof is in the riding. And it is quite different than the mono-rail, which I have ridden on a yamaha mountain max, it was super easy but not as easy to control as t-motion. Run what you think and the dumbest thing guys do is make it about how good they are, saying if you need t-motion you are not good and if you have a ridged skid you are better. One example of this is Chris Burandt talks about the wonky rear skid of the ski doo but he uses a carbon skid, I ask anyone to grab the rails of that skid and move them, it moves and flexes more than t-motion as if it did not it would break.

      @DaveNorona thanks for the info, wish I could ride them all, but I'm not that lucky, lol.
      Just want to get the best set up for me. And my current Arctic Cat m8000 with the monorail is not it.
      In your opinion which sled is the easiest to side with for a 160 lb rider, summit X or the Expert? Thank!
